I am sitting here, tears rolling copiously, as I once again have a privilege to lay eyes on my spiritual father, the late Apostle Evans, Jr. This man eternally affected my life with his love, his teaching, and his example. He loved people beyond their issues and faults, and he walked the distance with all of us, until many could stand on their own two feet. He was a friend, a counselor, a teacher, a father, a mentor. I can not even put it in words. Had the pleasure of being his Armor Bearer for 14 years. The lessons, from words and his life can never be taught again. He was the same ALLLLLL the time. Love burst from his heart, mind and heart allll the time. Great man, Great man.
the eternal wisdom that flowed thru that vessel, went strait to the heart and soul, making you know that God cared enough to send a word to your situation. I will forever miss those moments when I sat under a man who's God wisdom was matched by his Godly love. I really beleive he was called home as a sacrafice for those he loved....

I had the honor of serving Bishop Evans on many occasions. He was one of the truest of the true. He is one of most missed Men of God in my memory. I was in attendance when he delivered this message. The Wisdom and Love that he shared with my Bishop RMT Sr. was always from the heart and I am just glad that I was in my place and that I was able to get some of the scraps. God Bless the Memory and Ministry of Bishop Robert Evans. RIP Your Grace.

I've had the pleasure of hearing this great preacher in person. The last time was July 1997 in Washington, DC at the 40th Holy Convocation of the Bible Way Church World Wide, Inc., Bishop Huie L. Rogers, Presider. I have that message on tape, " How to handle hard situations." Bishop Evans said, "the Right Attitude, will bring you out." God bless the memory of this great warrior, RIP Bishop Evans, we shall see you in the "rapture"!
We need more videos of Bishop Evans... He will always be my favorite Bishop. We would have times @ Powerhouse when Bishop Evans come to preach. I really miss him. He was definately GOD's servant or servants.
The anointing on this man was INCREDIBLE!! Everybody knew him and wanted to be around him. He was the homilist when my former pastor was being concecrated a Bishop! His message was "The Hard Way!" Unbelieveable word! He is still missed!
