Downtown Nekketsu Story - Hot-Blooded Single Sesh Solo Run

This game just celebrated its 33rd anniversary a day or so ago! Can you believe it?!
While I've been steadily working through the GBA remake, I figure this anniversary celebration wouldn't be complete without the original, so here it is! The legendary Downtown Story hits the channel as well!!
I played it using the English Switch collection. Thanks again ArcSys for finally localizing the Fami lineup for the first time in decades! One day, I hope we can get a nice collection with the 3DS games, especially Nekketsu Kouha SP and Riki Densetsu which were never localized. Shame too, as the former is a retelling of the original Kunio arcade game, and the latter delves into Riki's backstory over the course of his own solo adventure.
This game is seriously way too much fun. Eating to power up, using all sorts of fun techniques and items on your foes, and free smiles all around! It's truly a classic. Def worth a try if you like goofy fun video games, and especially worth if you can bring a friend along for co-op!
