had to laugh when she said something about getting that spare room cleaned out!! Oh boy, I can feel her pain on that one. Loved watching her build frame. I used to love that. Just give me a hammer, nails and some wood and watch me go. A bit long in tooth anymore, but still enjoyed seeing someone else go at it.

Thanks for watching. We love building stuff. Someday we might actually be done...but I doubt it.

Thanks. We will see how well the temperature holds when it gets warmer. There is a plan in place of we need it.

Cold room...great plan. We are fortunate to have a walkout basement that is plenty cold/cool year around...but too much moisture is a bit of problem for certain types of cold storage.
Yep...lumber pricing is awful also here in North Idaho. Renovating our mountain house, still needing some lumber but so glad that we aren't trying to build a new place from scratch.
Lumber mills here say that they can't get enough logs to mill. I don't get it...why is this pricing so insane? Who's getting rich over this?

The cold room is kind of an experiment. I'm not sure if it will be cool enough in the summer but we think we have a plan for that too.
I couldn't imagine building a place right now, easily double the cost in lumber.
