Same here, but I also discovered DGD and Tilian as late as March 2020. These past few months have been blessing to my musical discoveries :D
I kinda feel bad for Tides of Man. They had Tilian. Tilian! Then Tilian went to DGD and now they're....instrumental?
@@patw9175 Don't feel bad. They kicked him out of TOM I don't remember exact details. I think it's cuz he auditioned or sang for Saosin. There is history of Tilian video somewhere on RUclips where he talks about it.
I wish Tilian did at least one last project with Tides Of Man.

***** its called pre recorded and you are obviously have never been in a studio as there is no unnatural slides which would more then hint at auto tune as there is no un natural slides in his voice there is absolutely no way to prove there is auto tune unless you were the audio engineer who tracked this mixed and mastered this which I highly doubt

Alex Lovato Yeah and you could hear it when he was with Tides of Man. They edit that out for Dance Gavin Dance which is part of why I don't care about their music. It sounds too over-produced to me.
The producers didn't let him keep his natural raspiness for his earlier stuff with DGD so they just made him sing clean. His newer work with DGD sounds more like this though!

Being myself a leggiero( learned it recently ) tillian has an emotional and extensive mixed voice/head voice connection. Besides technique terms, that's really beautiful and motivating, i used to hate my high voice. Thank you tillian. Want to see more music like this
What is Leggiero?
@@Wingmar Leggiero is a sub-classification of the tenor voice type. Basically means his natural range is high as balls, but a lot of people hate this because they cant sing very low even in chest. But a lot of these guys in post-hardcore/alt/metalcore have these huge high voices that are honestly just so impressive to listen to.

Best vocalist DGD ever had. Tilian>Johnny>Kurt. I'm speaking purely technically. They basically had a contest on stage during the DGDX tour, and tilian came out swingin and pooped on them both.
