I just found out a small detail that is misleading (read: wrong) in my video. As I am logged in with my Chinese Xiaomi account on the Mi Fit APP it shows a lot more bands than will be available when you log in with a 'global account'! -----My bad!! I didn't realize that there would be a difference here, but it seemed that when using a global account in the Mi Fit APP you currently have 3 different watch faces to choose from. They might add new faces for those accounts as well, but I'm not sure. Sorry for the confusion!
Yes, as of right now there's only three on global accounts. - I think they will probably add some more as the website mentions that new faces will be added over time, although I'm not entirely sure :)

One of the best Fitness bands with incredible 20 days battery so far its been Fantastic for the past 10 days i used my mi band 4 and i still have 55% battery left its amazing.
Great review been waiting for this one for a while and I can say that it's actually worth it. Hopefully on Black Friday I might consider upgrading to Mi Band 4.

Just upgraded from 3 to 4. It's worth it. Coloured amoled screen with adjustable brightness, music control, bunch of cool watch faces, better icons and animations are all awesome to have. Also, if you live in China, you could buy almost anything with the alipay feature built into band and if you're good at Chinese language you could talk to the band and get info as well. ⌚♥️
NFC isnt really used outside of China Mainland, its a payment system that used QR codes that connect to a card so you dont need to take your card out all the time, it like apple pay or something like that but more simple. In china mainland, its also in like all the stores and malls or whatever because they made payment easier. Outside of China mainland, it very rare for these thing and apple pay or google pay ect... is more popular and worldwide unlike NFC. So Xiaomi decided to make a NFC verison for China mainlanders and a non-NFC verison/global verison for people who dont have NFC.
It works with any media app. RUclips, Amazon music, Spotify, and almost any music player and podcasts. You don't swipe up and down for volume control, but there are dedicated icons on screen you get when you swipe right from home screen.
Mm.. Yeah.. The old charger was not good at all.. You need to connect it like 3-4 times before it started charging.. I like the mi band 4's charger more..

If it's any worth to you, the smart wakeup doesn't work on on Honor Band 4. Hopefully it does on Mi Band 4. Otherwise Honor Band 4 is great and with a few tweaks could be perfect.

Things I'd like to change on the Honor Band 4 are: - working smart alarm - better sleep tracking but I've read that Fitbits aren't any better - ability to change snooze duration as it's only 10 minutes or nothing - ability to tune down display brightness more at night - better stopwatch and timer which stays in memory when you reset it or change the screen
At 4:11 you show that the charger pins have shifted to the back on the Mi Band 4 (vs at the bottom edge on Mi Band 3). Does one always need to pop the strap off to charge, or can you just dock the charging port onto the back while the strap is still on?
i waited for it to laungh in romanian store, i'm a little concern about warranty in china but the price is almost duble so i ordered 2 yesterday, can't wait.
Just brought one. The glass panel looks stunning compared w/ the Miband 3. The Battery life is impressive, especially you take into account the brighter full color OLED display and 6-axis sensor. In conclusion, with the same price, It comes with some significant improvements, I literally got nothing to complain about.

For this money or less you can buy Huawei band 3 pro with GPS and NFC, also OLED screen. I bought it on Aliexpress as a backup for my Samsung Gear fit 2 pro. So far it's paying off. Btw, NFC currently works only for AliPay. Also, great review. Subscribed!
No, it's not. I want the early bird function. That was the reason for buying the original Mi Band. Other than that, I want NFC that can be used to mirror credit cards so I can pay with the Mi Band.
Hmmm.. But you know that every Mi Band (including v4) has this feature on Android? This is possible as the early bird function still exists in the firmware but enabling it just isn't supported by the offical app.
Yeah! The early bird alarm seems to have been gone ever since the Mi Band 2 if I'm correct... And as far as NFC goes, there is a Chinese MB4 model with NFC but I'm not 100% sure if it will allow you to link creditcards. The reason it's a China-only model (I think) might be because it's just for public transportation, door unlocking (for Mijia door lock) and AliPay (for what I've been reading up on) and that should most likely only work with the MI Wallet APP (Which I have not yet managed to get working on my end) -So I personally doubt that an international NFC-version is going to be released; but I'm not entirely sure tho

There is actually no mention of this, but I kinda suppose it should be no problem. I am not really on a beach at the moment and probably won't be for the next months to come (*sad) but I personally think it would be no problem if you just rinse it off with water after.. (You can't scuba dive with it though) but just a little bit of seawater I'm quite sure it could handle... As soon as I am on a beach, I'll let you know! ;)
the Band 3 is absolutely useless under direct sunlight. You can't read anything on it. So the brighter display without the battery life taking a hit is Great news to begin with. A big plus over Band 3. SO that already got me tempted. Rest of the features just make me more and more tempted to get it. Waiting for it to be released here in India. About water resistance ... 2 years ago I swam in the lake with my friends.. and have lost my Mi band 2 ... after a few days, I`ve found it... at 2 meters deep in the lake... and it`s has been working for now!!!

How is the heart rate monitor? They advertise it as being more accurate than the previous one for more intense workouts like running.

the Band 3 is absolutely useless under direct sunlight. You can't read anything on it. So the brighter display without the battery life taking a hit is Great news to begin with. A big plus over Band 3. SO that already got me tempted. Rest of the features just make me more and more tempted to get it. Waiting for it to be released here in India.

How durable is the band from breaking? Especially every night if you will remove it.
Singapore Untold its same band as previous so quite durable. And if it break you could get new one for 1€ or something like that.
How does it show swimming results? Is there extra tab in Mi fit showing up or something?
Is it good for bodybuilding workouts ? Does it show how many calories we burnt ??
Amazing upgrades but I'd still choose my Huami Amazfit Bip for the always on-display feature! So convenient not having to tap your watch/band just for the display to turn on.
In Mi band 3-4 u can simply raise ur wrist and it will automatically shows time

About water resistance ... 2 years ago I swam in the lake with my friends.. and have lost my Mi band 2 ... after a few days, I`ve found it... at 2 meters deep in the lake... and it`s has been working for now!!!
i have the mi band2 for like 2yrs now and its fantastic, a little concern tho is its screen, right now its so dim and cant tell time in broad daylight
