Deglazing the pan with water and adding the flavors to the pot is a PRO move. I always do that when I make gravy, it adds so much extra flavor

That is the best way to chop the peppers and other veggies with that produce sticker on. It adds more flavor in my opinion. 🤙

I like rain in general, but I don't see how anyone would find it enjoyable for camping. Maybe if you're in a camper or RV, but definitely not while actually sleeping outdoors.
The stew looked tasty. Be sure to always get closeups of the pepper stickers. You know how much everyone loves seeing them! 😂

Well we live in Oregon and when we go camping we are usuall close to the willamette or Columbia river or any number of lakes or streams or sloughs. The ocean.....we just usually bring onions and lemons.butter....and pick mushrooms kelp or any clams ,fish etc....live off the land the best we can...salmon, trout,sturgeon..catfish..crayfish....
This is a remote area with no stream, will not catch trout here so I have to bring food but some campin' in the future and not stealths I will do that for you guys

Title is Stealth Campin', that means campin' without tryin' to be seen. If you are still interested I have 12 others on here so far. One in a storm drain, abandoned nursin' home, rest area, round-a-bout etc

Some interesting videos of people making campfires that don't have smoke.
Supposedly you can dig a trench or something.
People swear they can make a campfire smokeless by directing air/wind a certain way.
Yeah I know of what you are talkin' about and yes like when you get a fire hot enough it does not smoke as much. When you dig a hole and have a hole next to it for air it makes the fire hotter. Like a rocket stove, I have a video I done one of those where I cooked over one side of it and fed the fire on the other. Video is on my other channel and I will post it on here for you guys soon

Lol! That cooler stands out like a sore thumb! I know exactly where this is. I've lived in this area my whole life. Just want to say lots of luck to you and this channel! Being in this area is a little more of a challenge to stealth camp. Not as many places to hide as in other parts of the country. Hope all goes well and I'll be sure and share!

Yeah, when I first saw the cooler I laughed and said he should spray paint that thing green or brown. 🤔 I wanted my mountain bike green so I bought Krylon Fusion spray paint (Matte Spanish Moss) on Amazon last year, fairly cheap. Get to sprayin' ! 😁

Can't be prepared when stealth campin', only so much you can take
I think most people that work as tradesmen (carpentry, construction, electricians) despise the rain. You can't work in the rain, and it's no fun to be all wet, weighted down with clothes. I turn into a grump when I have to work in the rain.
Yeah I done construction, landscapin' and cut trees for 25 years. Rain f'n sucks and only good to make the grass grow but gr8 for the garden
I don't know how those Brits put up with so much rainy, overcast weather in the UK. The only decent time for rain while camping, imo, is when I'd be going to sleep, or if I'm in the sleeping bag relaxing before sleep. I rid my mountain bike quite a bit and bought a rain suit a few years ago on Amazon. It works well but I need to get openings on the bottom to air out because sweating a lot while biking is not fun with that thing on. Just walking around, it works fine.
