i do still think a major reason as to why people are underwhelmed by the festival (besides the character picks being kinda generic) is the fact that there is now "wow" factor to them. they have no new mechanic, they have no interesting game plan, and, in a way, they were all obvious. specially daima goku. as much as i'm loving daima, just having him in the celebration was so obvious that it killed any and all hype he'd have for me, specilaly since, once again, no new mechanic. every unit is starting to blend together and i feel this festival is a big example of that. we have TWO GREEN SAIYANS WHO TRANSFORM AND COMBO FOREVER, with their specifics being, well, specific. the big picture? they're the same unit. and you could say that about most of the releases, with the exceptions being ther because they're either bad or because they do something truly unique. I hope next year starts to leave this "everyone and their mom is an all rounder and can do all this because yes" philosophy, but being honest, they wont :P. Also, glad you got a new ssj3 toy to play with, one that's goated on release :3
@ I mean, might be a simpler, arguably not the coolest one, but a preparation mode styled transformation could be interesting, instead of a finishing attack, not exactly a mechanic, but game plan, I’m shocked we don’t have a unit that sacrifices health to do effects, seems like a no brainer. Maybe even bring back other mechanics to expand upon them, like the element switch mechanic, or card convert mechanic, even timed transformations. Some might not be the most unique or even best ideas on paper, but I’m sure they could pull something off if they tried, just look at synchro gauge, which also was only used once the whole year
@Pyoh-v8y There's a lot of things hell, an unsealable main ability or rising rush, A new unique gauge. A unit that is immune to vanish removal. A counter literally a single survivability mechanic in the game like a counter to indestructible or etc.

We got another inf combo grn character and a crazy dmg dealing RED character who locks in on his blue, which almost one shots most units, and the reason why i love daimaku's lock in because he is a RED which is really helpful against one certain brain dead unit , not to mention he also nullifies endurance with his blue. Amazing characters , i recommend summoning for both of them 👌
