Sometimes we need those extra lessons, am a first year and from highschool i thought extra lessons were useless, but here i realize that it is just the thing i need, lectures covers many aspects in one session and i hear 20% of that but from my tutor, i understand everything in detail.
us engineering students, do things solo more often then not , cause besides dying the whole day, some of us just end up burned, some sleep from 6pm - 00pm then we up for the rest of the day, some of us study after 5pm push until 9pm take a nap in the study areas till 12 push till 3am then go to sleep, rince and repeat....emfana engineering aint for the faint hearted
@user-vu8cn6ff5h No, first year is kind of doable. You can pass it, if you are serious enough. Just be open to asking for help and make enough friends/acquaintances who can help you if you are stuck.
Wits offers a BSc in Engineering (Aeronautical) where the emphasis is on the design of air-bourne crafts and associated parts. Minimum entry requirements are code 5 for English, Math and Physics. All engineering students do a common first year. In 2nd year, aeronautical and mechanical and industrial students (MIA) follow a common course. In 3rd year, you start specialising in aero-specific modules (still with a ew common modules with mech and industrial students).
Gift is a wits student, so it's kinda easy for him to access witts students than others, not that he's just focused on them only..... Just like when he was at UCT, he had more access to UCT students than others.... He's still a student too remember.... He can't always be travelling to unies❤
Subscribe abd check out his channel... I am amazed by how he has managed to visit so many different campusses. If you have a specific course and/or university, let him know... if he can, he does listen to suggestions. I think he is a real gift.
“Studying happens in every single moment in your life.”👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is such a great video ... some priceless advice. Engineering students are often sleep-deprived. Keep going, Witsies.

That is the reality ... it is good to find what works for you BUT do be prepared to adapt to your new normal and do so quickly.
