It was fantastic. He has grown so much from week 1. I didn't see it coming. His technique was flawless, his acting was sensational... he had one or two stumbles, but he did a fantastic job, not only technically but also artistically. Great song, great mood, amazing choreography and fabulous dancing. A 9.

Davood’s dance last week to the American smooth was actually amazing too, this guy may very well be final-fodder....
Okay. Davood and Nadiya are slowly thawing my cold, cold heart. This is one of the most macho Charleston I've witnessed. It's like the choreographer predictably let him play the 'strong man' role in this routine, which is very apt. Swivel is great when he dances on his own, decent even when he's holding Nadiya. It's a cute routine, and I am impressed that Davood can do cute despite being a hunk of a man he is... 9!!!
I knew he'd be good when given the opportunity to be a "romantic lead", as a handsome hunk he was clearly born into it. We saw tiny glimpses of how good he could be in his VW, despite the fact it was a total disaster, and now we're being hit with it full force.
GoAway, I won't call his VW his disaster, nevermind total disaster. I thought his VW was his breakthrough. His AS last week was even better. He wasn't good with his rumba but he acted well and I was just glad Nadyia did not resort to overt nonsensical sexual non-rumba related gyrations. Do you consider Davood handsome? He's definitely very well built physically (thus my mentioning him as a hunk of a man), but he's looking a little, I don't know, goofy. Not that goofy is bad in any way...
I enjoyed his dance last week, but if he is to thaw my heart, he needs to do just one thing - give me at least one dance with his gob shut. He got away with it this week because the gormless, open-mouthed look seems to be mandatory for a Strictly Charleston, with only a few daring to deviate. But next week I want him to wire that jaw shut.
dajtoad, aw, you are harsh! LOL I see his open gob like a boy trying to concentrate writing his alphabets in cursive by sticking out his tongue without realising he's sticking his tongue out... Edit: I just watched the main show on iplayer and I am a little upset that they scored tens. This Charleston is perhaps just as good as Joe and Katya's tin-soldiers Charleston last week, so no, they should be scored the same, maximum all nines. Tens? What are the judges smoking?!
Well done that person who uploads the clips- they almost, but didn't totally, obliterated the big lift finish. Special editing skills that. Cos obviously all the clips have to be 1min34. Oh wait...
I do think his energy was off but he sure made up with that lovely swivel and the lifts were very nice. It was very quirky and was very entertaining and well danced but it was a bit iffy with the lifts at some points but that can be easily fixed by Nadiya since she is a pro also I did quite like the arms but a 10 wasn't right as if there is mistakes a ten can't be given out but the dance was still good but just a few mistakes. 9 from me
I agree = what is with Nadiya's costume? Lol... It looks like it got dropped off at the wrong dance (not her fault ;) Overscored - I'd go 8.5, BUT seems just about everyone was overscored so 9's or 9.5 seems fair, if Susan is getting 8's.

I loved the theme of the dance, Charleston being my fav dance to watch on Strictly I loved Davood's performance this week.
