I'm not surprised, Kenshi was quite polite to him, he even wanted to shake his hand, all the shit that baraka went through before like being isolated with other infected people and being used for his blood, having a person come up to you for a dialogue must have generated respect for him.

At 0:37 when the mk 1 kenshi asks whos the keeper of time to the other kenshi he responds "kano" as in the kano from mortal kombat: Legends Snowblind. Kano in that movie got hold of kronika's crown. and controlled time to his biding. This was an awsome refrence.

Kenshi will always be my favorite character not only in fighting games, but in video games in general. I'm very fond of him for using him in local tournaments, so seeing him back, with more development and prominence in the story of MK1 makes me feel happy and excited about his future :'^]. Plus they gave him a character archetype in gameplay that's pretty fun and badass to use.
I would actually call Sento the more enchanted blade, because Ashrah's Kriss was made to kill evil, but Sento is powerful enough to literally give Kenshi supernatural abilities.
Watching how Mileena and Kenshi are not indifferent to each other warms my heart very much. I think they complement each other perfectly - a blind swordsman and a magical girl with a beautiful smile :D
Yes! Been waiting for this! I only started following the MK series from MKX and Kenshi was my favourite. Now to see him back in MK1, I’m elated! While the part where he got blinded was truly heartbreaking, I’m so glad he rose to the occasion to be an amazing loyal warrior to his friends. Love the part in the story where he was searching for Reptile when he got into trouble, where he was willing to sacrifice himself when fighting Quan Chi (the part where Johnny gave him Sento). A true honorable swordsman with my highest respect!
I'd assume so. I have a head canon/theory that he is Rain's father in this timeline (since it is confirmed that Argus isn't) and he died before Rain's birth, so his mother Amara named him after his father. Unless there is something in the game I missed that contradicts this.

Johnny Cage giving Kenshi the Sento is just a very wholesome scene I've witnessed. Their bond grow strong in that one particular action that has done, and the way they change from being rivals at each other to being best friends at the end. It’s good to see all works out. Also, his past relationship about the Yakuza, he wasn't into it he was just used to it.

*KENSHI* is like a mix between a less angry *Scorpion* & a humorous *Johnny Cage*. He can be a bit funny, but he can also be scary when serious.

Johnny Cage giving Kenshi the Sento is just a very wholesome scene I've witnessed. Their bond grow strong in that one particular action that has done, and the way they change from being rivals at each other to being best friends at the end. It’s good to see all works out. Also, his past relationship about the Yakuza, he wasn't into it he was just used to it.
