Thank you so much for this excellent presentation! I was particularly interested in Jasper's breakdown of all the descriptions of pain which I had never come across before. It is very difficult to describe pain in words and even more so for us autistic people and your information is so helpful.
Thank you so much for posting this when you did. I watched this a while ago just before my appointment with the rheumatologist. The first appointment I went to the doctor stated I wasn't hypermobile. I told her that my identical twin sister has been diagnosed with hEDS but she didn't believe me. So I printed out her two diagnosis letters and booked an appointment with Dr. Mittal at the hypermobility clinic in London. I was diagnosed with hEDS on the day and scored 7/9 on beighton scale. Although I passed the criteria because my twin sister passed, I also past the criteria independently of her. We scored slightly differently. She scored 6/9 on the beighton scale. I scored 7. In feature (a) of criteria 2 I scored 6/12 and my twin sister scored 7/12. This just goes to show that even in identical twins you can present slightly differently.

Ise like to no actual y how many woth heds havnt got autism ot adhd combined as myself wouldnt be diagnosed on the list until late
