The art reminds me heavily of the 2003 Star Wars the Clone Wars cartoon, I really like it as an alternative art similar to what you said of having multiple sets. That said, I feel as though it drifts away from the art style of the existing Dune cards etc. If all the art was drawn in line with this I would be more than happy with it but do feel there is something potentially better out there, not that I know what that is or can draw it myself, rather just a hunch of more evoking design as all I see is the aforementioned Clone Wars style rather than a Dune style.
Not a fan of cartoony design, but this one is good overall if you like the style. They main thing I hope all redesigns do forward is to differentiate faces and costumes so that you can tell from a glance what character is used even without the number.
I like them. Anyone who pays to have art made for a game they love is cool in my books. Especially if they make them freely available for others. Top marks!
I really like the cartoonish version (and the colours are very nice). I would prefer a not-so realistic style for the art in the Kwisatz Haderach edition, but I think it will be very hard to please everyone. Maybe the components in KH should have a more minimalist style so that it would fit better with whatever style of tokens the player chooses to go with. I don’t know. But still, it shouldn’t feel cheap. What do you think about the estetical choices that were made in the recent movies about the Harkonnen? Shouldn’t they have kept them red haired!

I've seen it yesterday/ It is cool, yet I agree with comments on the font)
Please no. Not more cartoony art! Dune deserves better.
Extremely disappointed in this artwork. I like that Fremen are PoC though.
