I guessed no purely because it was so OBVIOUSLY going to kill that I thought he was just trying to mess with us. Moral of the story, never bet against Shadow Mitsuru. And always bet against Granblue.
I walked up to my first WIK thinking that it would be time to work my brain and came out with a positive record and a few less rocks. Still can't believe that Kyo lived.
I just actually screamed when I saw Kirby battle blitz. Me and my friend have been playing this game for over a year and it’s no shit one of my favorite fighting games and I’ve played nearly every big release for the past decade
16:19 was said with such conviction, that line came from his chest! But he's probably about to regret it now huh? Voting yes because it's such an easy karma moment!
27:47 Real game btw. You can play an Olive crewmate with a Potemkin Buster and an Android 16 dunk against a Pink crewmate with an air tank that propels them up and down. Everyone's normals are the same, but each character has a unique special move that drastically changes how they play in combo variety and neutral.
As soon as roboky popped install I knew it was going to be some demonic shit, but not "7 hits after the round ends on a 128 hit combo" level of demonic
27:22 The absolute truth, I'm glad they added the Maximum Impact OST to the DJ station. Now all they need to do is release a Maximum Impact collection. Side note: They actually nerfed this grab in Maximum impact 2 so it no longer loops into itself.
I know this is gonna be a little late but to answer Sajam's kinda funny question on why Breakdance does so much damage To put it simply, most dynamic Break moves like that are called Power moves in the dance scene. ...so it's at least figuratively fitting. LOL Edit: the move Jaime does here (10:10) is essentially a Windmill, which classifies as a Perpetual Explosion, something akin to a Headspin would be a Sustained Explosion. Named Explosions due to the fierce outward strength and power needed to execute the movements.
I went from 7-4 after nailing the first No in the second half, straight to 9-11. Almost every other 2nd Half wrong, Yeses and Nos alike. But I bet correctly on the P4 Arena clip so really it's all worth it anyways (and went positive on Channel Points besides.)
My second live WiK! Went all in on the last clip after losing like 4 in a row. Won. Went up 20k points, with a final score of 12-8. Thanks for a great show Sajam! Can’t wait to see a hundred Kyanta clips next month lol
thanks for telling us ahead of time its on the 25th, i ALWAYS forget to mark it on my calendar because i keep trying to remember the last friday of the month
You could do combos in games with burst where the question isn't whether the combo does enough damage, but rather whether it gains the other player enough burst guage
I was fairly confident that jack 7 clip wouldn’t kill because most back grabs just slam you for massive damage and that’s it, but after I saw jack just straight up yeet chloe into a balcony break, I was like “yep, it’s gonna kill”
Almost completely even split for this one for me, though I was slightly in the negatives. That Persona clip might be my favorite; voice chat always makes it funnier.
Final Score: 10-10 For a second I thought I was gonna lose my grocery money, so coming out even is a win in my book. My personal gambling addict theory: fan parodies/low budget games tend to be made by fighting game fans who love long, complex and high-damage combos. Professional devs tend to have more restraint when balancing their combo system. This is how I guessed right on the Among Us game and the last two clips
8:04 I'm sure someone could make a userscript for "No Sunglasses Mode" to prevent dimming the twitch player. I will keep you posted if I get around to coding it Mr Jam.
I was boutta walk away from this one having lost 400 points (started with 2.3k, was at 1.9k), I went all in on the last one expecting to come out broke but I was right and ended up walking away with 1k points worth of profit. Being my first WIK I was super hyped, see you guys next month!
I went into that first clip thinking it was the clip on twitter that claims Chipp-Potemkin as a 10-0 matchup in both directions, and I can only assume the other 41% did too.
as someone who works in a grocery store, I was a kid when we got those $1 candy bars. Those are now over double in price, it's insane what the price of candy is these days.
Elvin could have Bursted out of that Robo Ky combo, but it's impossible he or anyone else would have known that in the moment. If you take it frame-by-frame in the video, he has access to burst for 3 frames during hit 63.
Man, it really is the spooky season - I did surprisingly well in the first half only to be betrayed by my good old Daemon Bride and Nitroplus in the second one. And I'm more than okay with that, because that Ethica combo was insane! To explain, she used a counter assist and an assist that hits both players, allowing the latter to activate the former for some massive combined damage. And here I was, thinking the best thing you could do with Sakura is to cancel a move as an impromptu RC... On a related note, maybe I shouldn't focus on the assists so much, because I was 100% sure Saya would kill with the Carol assist equipped - only for her to never call her. That's just how it goes sometimes, huh.
To elaborate further, Mugen's attack also blows back both players to the wall on hit, or guard crushes on block. So Sakura coming in with the counter stops that, allowing Ethica to actually properly continue the combo, on top of the increased damage. In theory, I knew Mugen has some utility when it comes to activating counter moves, like Anna's Lethal Blaze or Muramasa's ground super as well, but I've never actually seen it pulled off in a match. Likely since other assist set-ups are easier to do, are less situational, and have less risk. As for Saya with Carol, yeah, that seems to be a stickler for most reactions I've seen. A shame that clip didn't go down too well.
"could it have killed" would be a neat inclusion foe a single player mode in fighting games. like you know how a lot of fighting games have those combo challenge modes? what if you did like... that but it's like "ok now make it kill" like yeah technically +r already has that obviously because that's what you think in the replay playback mode anyways but also though like combo challenges are fun and its not much different than regular training mode anywas so like i think there's a reason to include it so long as developers are willing to actually build that kind of sick nasty rollback that +r has
The spookiest thing was a WIK without any Kyanta. What is this strange messed up timeline.
Damn that's the worst spoiler I could ever get and it isn't even one
Halloween ruined.
No kyanta... unsubbed...
im fucking livid
*CHANTS* Down with WiK!
Rule of thumb when it comes to P4AU: if its Shadow Chie or Mitsuru landing the hit before Sajam pauses, it's like a 95% chance it kills
I've tried to submit clips where it doesn't happen and they've been rejected
Honestly, like 80 percent of the cast can just delete you from a 2A. That game is the only game where I‘m always willing to throw rocks
Same applies to Shadow Labrys
@@ezelalia5739 Shadowlab is incredibly messed up on older versions
I guessed no purely because it was so OBVIOUSLY going to kill that I thought he was just trying to mess with us. Moral of the story, never bet against Shadow Mitsuru. And always bet against Granblue.
"I WAS COOKING YOU" famous last words before getting reverse bodied. We all know the feel.
Mf didn’t even get robbed. That was a whole heist.
That Iori combo is literally "We Will Rock You".
oh my god it is
That's the secret to learning the combo timing
Love how sajam switched from "don't vote unless you know the game" to "if you don't know shit just vote yes anyway"
I walked up to my first WIK thinking that it would be time to work my brain and came out with a positive record and a few less rocks.
Still can't believe that Kyo lived.
Ay man KOF 2002 never kills
oi tatzoo
@@Gabrol alô gabrol
You know its good if it starts with a Heavenly Potemkim Buster
the 2nd half absolutely annihilated me. those last 2 clips are incredible
I went 2-8 the first half, 2nd half wasn’t too bad honestly
Putting Chipp vs Potemkin at the start is the embodiment of “trick or treat”
Please show chat for the next "Will it kill", i think it would be interesting to see the despair, the deception and the depression put on displays
I cant believe nobody asked this before! Great idea!
My favorite part of the Ryu combo at 5:50 is that Ken kills there.
I just actually screamed when I saw Kirby battle blitz. Me and my friend have been playing this game for over a year and it’s no shit one of my favorite fighting games and I’ve played nearly every big release for the past decade

"No tomfoolery"
"We got a classic little Ryu hit for you guys"
Opens Smash Ultimate

The clippy coming back later made me laugh like a maniac.
Shadow Mitsuru truly is the Kenshiro of fighting games.
13:11
What the fuck was that Robo Ky combo, holy shit
That Kirby clip had me shook. Here I was expecting a like 10+ combo, no. 4 touch, DEAD.
Sajam is such a troll on these I love it lol
Those little Clippy edits were way funnier than they had any right to be.
The moment I've seen Jack and Chloe being backturned I already knew what kind of clip that was
I laughed out loud when he played the smash clip after that SF6 bait
WIK is not gambling. Its a life long lesson telling me the odds will always be stacked against me and i should never gamble in my existence
(3 - 17)
I voted yes on the jamie clip purely out of the power of the tiny makoto on the bottom right
Never did I think I would see fucking Saya from Song Of Saya of all characters in a fighting game.
27:02 Iori on that We Will Rock You type beat
27:22 The absolute truth, I'm glad they added the Maximum Impact OST to the DJ station. Now all they need to do is release a Maximum Impact collection.
Side note: They actually nerfed this grab in Maximum impact 2 so it no longer loops into itself.
Spooky month with WiK means we will for sure see a combo that delivers a *fright*!
17:14 dude got so mad he turned into Wario
That back throw did so much damage
I'm here to say Buff Gran damage. Ty Sajam for featuring me and Gbvs in this video
I was not prepared for the kirby nuke. That did so much damage to the enemy and to my stomach holy shit.
I love seeing Stormlocke combos showing up, man influenced me playing Robo KY so hard
I saw Roboky Install into Super and KNEW it's the legendary super into super combo, goddamn I wish he got a taunt in, that would just elevate it.
Isn’t the t-pose after the dash attack a taunt already? Well not mechanically a taunt but still…
Can't believe I was wrong on clip 1 because I confused the animation for HPB with Heat Knuckle.
Majas: "Look at the Snatch"
Clippy: "Yo don't cancel my boy"
I felt that when he said "Stupid Bitch" and then got put on the high light reel. True gamer pain.

Just wanted to say thanks for giving KBB a chance. Means a lot
Welcome to Will it Kill(October) Where we bet on Frighting Game Combos
That ryu punish in ultimate was wildly unoptimal wtf, he definitely could've killed with standing shory
My second live WiK! Went all in on the last clip after losing like 4 in a row. Won. Went up 20k points, with a final score of 12-8. Thanks for a great show Sajam! Can’t wait to see a hundred Kyanta clips next month lol
Never thought I’d hear sajam say “look at the snatch” LOLOLOL
That paperclip is the most accurate thing I've seen in a while
thanks for telling us ahead of time its on the 25th, i ALWAYS forget to mark it on my calendar because i keep trying to remember the last friday of the month
What in the absolute fuck was that backturn throw in the second clip. I'm like nah there's no way this kills and then my jaw hit the floor
9-11. It was super close until the very last clips
God bless the person uploading the Daemon Bride clips. Giving me free points
23:19 That Sajam paperclip is savage AF 🤣 😂 😆
That yosuke player deserved that so much lmao
That mixup on the street fighter clip was crazy. I got mixed crazy.
17:20 WAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
Got to do this one live, and did pretty well this week! Potemkin really is the character in all of Guilty Gear Strive
Saya is a monster that consumes human flesh, so yeah
You could do combos in games with burst where the question isn't whether the combo does enough damage, but rather whether it gains the other player enough burst guage
He did that in episode 1 but i guess the rules got tightened up since then, so never again?
That P4UA clip was Christmas come early.
I was fairly confident that jack 7 clip wouldn’t kill because most back grabs just slam you for massive damage and that’s it, but after I saw jack just straight up yeet chloe into a balcony break, I was like “yep, it’s gonna kill”

The Jack back throw though
I’m curious, is that normal or did something else happen?
17:19 this cutoff killed me oh my god lmfaoooooo
"Look at the snatch"
Yup... I'm definitely an I-no main
Yooooo! that was my clip #2. I was fucking SHOOK when it happened
Abosule big shoutout for moste on this one, producion value through the roof!
Bill just put an IED on Vivienne's feet and sent her straight to mars, that's fucked up.
*Candyman:* _"In death, you will become legend."_
I mean, isn't that the official Will It Kill tagline?
That T7 Jack clip is some heinous ass shit 💀
I was kind of surprised there were no Xrd clips, hopefully there are some in the next one. Also I really would love to see WIK Xtreme return.
I was boutta walk away from this one having lost 400 points (started with 2.3k, was at 1.9k), I went all in on the last one expecting to come out broke but I was right and ended up walking away with 1k points worth of profit. Being my first WIK I was super hyped, see you guys next month!

Omg, the paper clip killed me. I didn't even put 1 and 1 together before the dude popped up like Jason Vorhees. Hahahahaha
I blocked that 4 second half no mix up, you can't fool me, I was so confident I typed this before the 5th clip
Jack doing fucking 70% dmg on a throw is ludicrous, even considering the wall break, what the fuck
It’s hard for him to setup a back throw than others, so it’s kinda deserved he does way more for one than say, Xiaoyu.
bro the form on that 3 pointer... aint even need the fadeback, she know its sinkin and you finna look goofy if you even try to block.
Kirby may be shaped like a Friend,
but Bill is shaped like a Murderer.
all these viewers must run sand teams in pokemon because i'm seein a lot of smooth rocks
as someone who works in a grocery store, I was a kid when we got those $1 candy bars. Those are now over double in price, it's insane what the price of candy is these days.
This one was brutal haha
Tis' the spooky season indeed
Anytime I see a BackGrab in Tekken I’m like, it’s wraps.
Bro that outro is amazing.
I had so much faith in my balling queen, she did not have the damage and now I do not have the points to feed my family.
9 - 11, I should've listened the cranky old man in my heart that said no more in the second half
On the first clip when I saw the wall splat I just said “oh god no”
12-6-2.
I put my faith in Kirby (as one should) but didn't expect the damage to explode like that.
Elvin could have Bursted out of that Robo Ky combo, but it's impossible he or anyone else would have known that in the moment.
If you take it frame-by-frame in the video, he has access to burst for 3 frames during hit 63.
You know when old KOF kills if Sajam doesn't say "Flashing light warning" before playing the rest of the clip
The last two times this happened, he only put up the flashing light warning after the vote, smart
21:32
The last thing I expected was for her to actually be a basketball anime girl. But to top it off she has good form.
10:04 “and then he twerks on him” and actually does😭😭

The last clip is set in an S-Mart store from Evil Dead
36:32 Shop Smart. Shop S-Mart.
I’d like to thank Bee and the coin from Mr Flash for bankrupting me
on 14:02 they could burst, but for 3 FRAMES ONLY.
i love W.I.K.
The only RISC in the first clip was the one Chipp took jumping and boy was that a mistake
Ryu from the Streets? I heard he's not homeless anymore and now have his own gig.
