    After seeing lots of your videos I'm ready to try one on my own, but I have a few questions. I would really appreciate if you could give me some advice.
    -The water you use is regular tap water, or distilled water. Could I use this last one instead of tap water?
    -How do your regulate the temperature in the hole tank? the heater installed back in the box heats the water and that's all?
    -You say you mix LED 6500k and plant growth LED but in what proportion?
    Thank you!

    You are amazing! It looks like you put so much work and love into this beautiful mini ecosystem. I hope my paludarium can look like yours some day. It's truly the best work I've ever seen and it's giving me inspiration to continue with mine. It's been quite frustrating as I've had it going for almost 4 years now, but it's as if I'm starting from scratch every other month due to a slug and snail infestation. I haven't been able to plant new plants till I know the slugs are gone, but I've got a little grow set up similar to yours with growing plants awaiting their time to move to their new home. If I may ask, the plant you showed right after the calycifida, where you said "a weak but strong plant". May I know what plant that is? It's gorgeous. All of your plants are gorgeous and I cannot wait to see it continue to grow. Tfs!

    3 Questions:
    1- how often do you feed the plants insects?
    2- If you have frogs, how do you stop them from jumping out while cleaning dead plants out or putting new in?
    3- Is there not a way to hide the undersides of sprinkler system, so unappealing in an otherwise aesthetically pleasing environment?
    You stun me everytime I watch your videos, I repeat watching all of the time!
    I haven't made one yet but you are teaching me. I thank you so much for this!

    • @erikm8372
      @erikm8372 Год назад +1

      1 - did you know that it’s not needed, like 100% of the time, to feed the carnivorous plants insects? Even in nature, it’s not necessary to survive off insects… despite the fact that they have access to them in the wild. They’ve simply evolved to live on less nutrients because of the locations they’re from. That’s why distilled or RO water is so important for them. They live in places where it’s like a bog, and the water barely moves. Or they live on other trees, rocks, etc, wheee there aren’t many nutrients, so they can actually survive on nothing but water and sunlight. The insects are second-best and a bonus evolutionary trait. Buuuuuut to answer your question, there may be some fungus gnats naturally in the setup, so hopefully the plants can catch them. Otherwise, any little fly or gnat you swat in your home can be applied. Not that I have a fly infestation in my house, I don’t, lol. But sometimes you’ll see one and it’s good to catch them… so that they don’t multiply, but also can be fed to plants! But cautionary tip w the plants- They can be easily overfed, and die as well, from nitrogen overload…so you have to be careful. If you have reptiles or other pets that eat fruit flies, you could get away with feeding a few every month, per each plant.

    이끼 박사 이끼 천재 이끼 왕 이끼 황제 이끼 우주 이끼 그 자체이신 비오토프님 질문이 있습니다
    이끼를 공기 청정용 실내에서 효과가 있게 사용하려면 어느정도 규모로 세팅을 해야하는지 궁금합니다
    혹시 식당이나 사람들 많이 문을 여닫는곳에서도 공기가 좋다고 느껴지게 하려면 대략 10평 20평정도 기준으로 하려면 어느정도 인지 알 수 있을까요?
    가정집도 비슷한 규모에 비바리움처럼 꾸미지 않고 공기정화용으로만 세팅하시는 분들도 효과가 있는지 궁금합니다
    아 그리고 벌레가 처음 잡아놓고 세팅을 해도 중간에 생기면 살충제 같은걸 뿌려서 관리 할수있는지도 궁금합니다

  • @ianpowder3187
    @ianpowder3187 Год назад

    Nice looking setup, though I'll offer a little constructive criticism after growing these plants for years...
    If untreated driftwood was used, it's almost certainly slowly leaching salt into the system, That wont kill anything immediately, but the carnivores will slowly die unless the water is constantly changed. Better to use wood sourced away from marine environments.
    Heliamphora need way more light.
    Mix 50/50 rinsed horticultural or pool filter sand into your peat moss for better drainage.
    Heliamphora love regular misting, but cephalotus do not.
    This paludarium would benefit from better ventilation and a dry cycle programmed into the misters.
    Hope that helps!

    역시 살아있는 모든 것들은 키우는게 쉽지 않네요~
    비전공자인 제가 감히 의견을 내자면... 식충식물들이 이렇게 많이 있는데, 벌레가 전혀 없는 게 어쩌면 문제가 아니었을까요...?
    해외 유튜브들 보면 일부러 산 속 이끼에 자생하는 작은 벌레들을 같이 키우기도 하더라구요.
    물론, 광량이나 미스트나 알 수 없는 다른 요인들로 헬리암포라나 다른애들이 죽었을지도 모르지만...
    언제 시간이 나신다면, 팔루다리움에 작은 벌레들을 키우는 것에 대해 어떻게 생각하시는지 알려주세요~
    저는 벌레가 참 싫지만... 생태계에 필수적이기도 하고, 역시 팔루다리움을 할 때에 넣는 것이 좋은지... 아니면 오히려 병충해만 부르게 돼는지..궁금합니다!!

      저기는 프리미엄모스, 미니삼각모스, 깃털이끼, 산주목이끼 정도 있었던거 같아요! 처음에 세팅할때 덩쿨에 있었던 이끼는 넓은잎윤이끼이고요!
