Soyabean Rice | Healthy & Tasty | Soya Chunks Pulao (Tehri)

- Ingredients:
1 cup soya | nutrela
1 onion
1 to 2 Red chilli
6 tbsp Oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp coriander powder
1/4th tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp salt
Slightly less than 1 cup of rice
Dry spices khada garam masala :
1 Bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
2 cloves of cardamom
1 tsp homemade garam masala
1 and half a cup of water
Fresh Coriander
Salt as per taste
"The recipe"
Firstly wash, soak nutrela in normal water.
You can also keep it in hot water.
In a pressure cooker, add oil, once it's hot add cumin seeds,green chilli,ginger & garlic. Stir fry on low flame till it's golden.
Meanwhile squeeze the water soaked soya chunks.Add all the spices, coriander, red chilli, pepper, turmeric powders & salt.Mix it all together.Add soya chunks and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.Meanwhile let's wash the rice for 2 to 3 times with regular wayer addwashed rice in the pressure cooker. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.Add 1 and half cup of water.The khada & powdered garam masala. Mix it, cover the lid and cook on low flame for 4 whistle.Do not force release the pressure. Wait for 5 minutes and it's ready.
