I shaved my head bald in September 29 of 2022 bc of trich and i have videos of my journey on my channel. it was the best decision, i'm so glad i did it, i wish i did it sooner. i feel so liberated and empowered, it was truly life changing! plus, wigs are great and so fun if you choose to wear them. you can switch up your looks easily without damaging your real hair. I don’t plan on dying my hair ever again and keeping it virgin all the way.. ugh... the beauty of going bald and giving yourself that reset that you didn't know you needed.

Wow! You had really nice long hair, but it was traditional & boring. Now you look much more interesting because you have nice facial features. It's good to see that you didn't immediately do as many women who shave their heads, put tons of makeup & jewelry on to overcompensate for the lack of hair. You still look very feminine & much more attractive than with long hair. JMO.
It will take about a year to grow your hair back to the length you had it before. And then you have to go to a pro to have layers put in. When you shave your head your hair grows in the same direction. I did it last year and I hated my life after that.

My parents made fun of me but don’t mind it, and everyone else tells me it looks great (whether they actually mean it, idk)
It really boils down to the fact that I'm lazy and selfish. I wanted to cut it so it all fell to the ground instead of chop off ponytails. Plus it was a quick, impromptu decision and I didn't follow any of the protocols you need to donate hair.
