  • Take a virtual ride on Loch Ness Monster, a fan favorite that is celebrating its 40th birthday in 2018. LNM was the first coaster to feature interlocking loops and is the only remaining coaster to have them.
    This is the second of a few videos in a new series for this semi-recreation of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This initially started as an original project located within Busch Gardens, but over time the surrounding areas were filled in and the recreations started to take shape. This is not a full park recreation, instead focusing on a few main attractions and their surrounding theming and landscaping.

    Brilliant. If I was to be nitpicky, the trims are missing on the drop leading into the first vertical loop. The train design and colors also changed this year, but that isn't yout fault. Damn well job - hope to see that Alpengeist video soon ;)

    As someone who loves this park and has visited more times than I can count in the time I lived in the area this is amazing. Makes me want to make a trip back.

    Love this video. This was my first coaster with a loop. I rode this in 1983 at the age of 11.

    This is just breathtaking. My only pet peeve is that the lift hill should be slower as it is in real life. Try to source a recording of the actual Arrow rollback sounds.

      CentralJerseyRailfan It's the standard lift noise for most steel coasters in the game.

      Well actually back then when loch ness monster first released lift hill was much faster than it is today and ever since late 90s they progressively made changes making it slower

    I love this but btw for people who haven't ridden it there's only one train so they don't have two doing the loop but best recreation ever

    • @lightninglady
      @lightninglady 6 лет назад +1

      Thyn Defribulator OwO there’s like, 2 trains, they just don’t go through the loops at the same time anymore

    • @mjtch
      @mjtch Год назад

      They run more than one train and reason they dont go threw loop at same time anymore is because of loading time but during early morning testings they loop at same time

    Also you should do a tutorial on accurately recreating rides, because this is fantastic!

    Are you going to recreate roller coasters from Kings island in Mason Ohio, Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, Kings Dominion in Doswell Virginia, or Six Flags America in Upper Maliboro Maryland? Also are you going to recreate griffon the dive coaster or Drachen Fire?

    I see alpengeist and big bad wolf, so wasn't Apollo's chariot and Escape from Pompeii around as well or have you just not done them yet?

    • @puro-puro
      @puro-puro  6 лет назад +1

      I only wanted to work on one side of the park, so if/when I continue with the recreation I'll move on to the other side of the river and do Apollo and Pompeii.

    Those transitions were a bit sharp...but overall I’d say it was fairly accurate.

    • @James-gn3dj
      @James-gn3dj 6 лет назад

      If you've been on the actual coaster you'll know that the transistions are bad but easily smoothest arrow

    • @TS_Mind_Swept
      @TS_Mind_Swept 6 лет назад

      James Meek - if you want really bad transitions you should ride revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Ug.

    Can you do recreation of defunct lighting loops at Six Flags great adventure?

    • @puro-puro
      @puro-puro  6 лет назад +1

      The track would be easy to make because the loops use the same support structure as LNM, I'd just have to figure out a good way to do the backwards launch. I really want to make a fully working Intamin 1st Gen Freefall so maybe at some point I'll do Lightnin Loops and Stuntmans Freefall in their surrounding area...
