It’s a testament to this documentary’s quality that people still love it in spite of how outdated it is now. Can’t believe it’s this old, watched it and the rest of the Walking With series more times than a mathematician can count. They’ll always hold a big place in my heart for entertaining & teaching me so much. Lovely little tribute.

There will never be another documentary like Walking with Dinosaurs. Sure the show is outdated now, but so what? This was from 1999. And even back then, it was accurate and was really incredible. It's like a film crew went back in time and actually filmed dinosaurs in front of our very eyes. The only thing that comes close to being as good as Walking with Dinosaurs is Prehistoric Planet.

Imagine a remake, not only of Walking with Dinosaurs, but also of the entire Life trilogy, with a CGI on the same level, or at least close to that of a prehistoric planet, with the animals from the program Having their designers and behaviors updated, and them replacing the animals that do not match the location and time shown with some equivalent, and of course, bringing new places, times and animals.
I would certainly sign a petition or something asking for this.

That documentary was made in 1999 & its 2024, and its animation, whilst its good, is nothing compared to prehistoric planet.
yet walking with dinosaurs is better than prehistoric planet imo since it feels more real and tells a story while using puppets and it just feels like it has more passion than PP. i love PP, but it just doesnt compared even if wwd is old
like, the puppet and cgi combo plus the use of prehistoric looking locations and the way the animals move just makes it feel more real than what is clearly cgi dinosaurs, albeit very well made cgi dinosaurs.
The original version was once the greatest documentary ever made but then it now forgotten thanks to that knockout movie of 2013

I want an open world game set in the Walking with universe
You could play The Isle or Path of Titans and try to recreate the color schemes and looks of the Walking With... series animals
