Deepened my appreciation and understanding of the true spiritual connection between silence in nature and blocking out of sound. That such inconceivable beauty, connection, and potential for awakening is becoming extinct breaks my heart. Audibly.
Thank you for your work in the world. I really appreciate it. I think about this topic all the time. Sometimes I wish we could have one day out of the week for global silence. Even when I go into the woods people are yelling, screaming and blasting music. There seems to be no thought of all the other beings. No thought of all the sounds that for thousands of years contributed to shapping our form. Silence is impregnated with sacred sounds.
Our poor Germany is crossed by autobahns and roads almost everywhere. Wandering through a "silent" forest you very often hear the disturbing sound of cars and trucks rushing long them. You cannot find the peace you wanted to find. I live in a village. It used to be quite in the past. Now everyone has a lot of machines. And as soon as there is a sunny day someone will cruise his garden on a lawnmower with a rattling gasoline motor or is doing some other "gardening" with a noisy motorised gardening tool. Blessed be the winter. Then it may become really quite. And deep in the early summer night you can hear the nightingale singing. But I won't be unfair. Many years I'd been living in a big city. There you don't realize the noise surrounding you any longer. But you feel it when you are back in the village. It is like a strong tension is taken from you. You can really feel the pressure fading that has lasted on you.
Most of my experiences with silence have been in nature. Some have been the immaculate silence of the meditation Hall. I very much appreciate your video.
I love the use of the 360 camera. The creators could have easily used single frame black and white or still photos to highlight the sounds, but the 360 view really makes you feel like you are in the locations.
this is why I bought my farm. Northern Alberta silence but for the wind and rain, The song birds, frogs, elk bugling, moose snorting, bees buzzing, the little stream. Sometimes a symphony of creations sounds all come together. The natives here call trees 'standing people' for many reasons. Learn to listen to them., they will tell you all you need to know.
This video is sooo very beautiful. I actually cried deep within and silent tears appeared. I so believe in the healing and beauty of silence and nature. This actually transported me and affected my senses. Thank you so very much for your generosity and kindness in sharing this wonderful perspective and knowledge. So grateful.... much appreciation! Love & light to you today and always! WOWahhhh! 💛🧡💚💙
i suffer real bad with tinitus , my freind has a place in the woods i go there when ican and just sit and listen to the sound of silence , just to hear the trees talking in the wind some how cures my tinitus compleatly , i often sit by a stream when i go up to his place and just listen to it bubbling past , i could not even imagine how it must be to have to listen in the big cyties .
Yes we are, indeed. But everything else about us, or how we identify ourselves, is anything but natural. Far from it. And that what we are holding on to. Even when faced with the fact of being maliciously suicidal about it.
Thank you dear Gordon, Mr. Gordon Hempton. ❤🌿🔥🍀🌒🌕🌘🍀🔥🌿❤ Namasté and Blessed Be.
More people need this, unfortunately few will get it. This is the real genius we need.

Immersive, very impressed with this medium, should perhaps advise people to cast it at home.

wow a truly spiritual experience we have almost lost. Thank you
I wish I would’ve lived in times when planes and cars didn’t exist and we were still discovering new lands on foot or on horseback
Good God! This is incredible
Listen, listen, listen.
Thank you.
Holy moly I can move the camera around!! 😁🤗
I would like to meditate to Gordon's recordings.
You cannot ,it is a distraction to emptying your mind ,that's what meditation is
@@johnmudd6453 You are absolutely correct. No matter how much I try to empty the mind, 5:12 happens (timestamp).
This is my ASMR for today.

Standing in the road with the head on a staff, the guy looks like some kind of sound priest.

I quit this at 4:50 because it kept stalling and clicked the dislike icon from 17 to 18 to register to prospective viewers: NOT WORTH THE BOTHER.
But human noise is not unnatural. We are nature.

Ye but we are loud and obnoxious
