  • DRY CLEANING PAD? Aren't those for clothes? NOPE! They are little bags of eraser bits and many graphite artists don't even know about them!. They can be a valuable tool - if you know the tips and tricks. Darrel shows how to handle this pad, what to do and what not to do with it. If you have a large area on your drawing that needs lightened equally, this would be the perfect eraser to use, instead of spending a long time taping away with your kneaded or other eraser. And this little pad is super cheap to buy. Enjoy!

I used these in the past in drafting class to help prevent smearing. I would roll the bag in my hand to create a layer over the drawing so having my hand over the drawing to help protect it.

When I first started drawing, I bought one of these. I used it once, saw the bits flying all over the paper, and freaked out. Never used it again until tonight, when I thought I’d give it another try. Thanks to your video, I can see this will be a very helpful tool!

That's exactly what happened to me. I was like, 'of course, just my luck that I'd get a defective one'

@@WakeUp1972 I was afraid to take it back to the store, too, because I figured I was the only one who didn’t know how it was supposed to work!
