i absolutely agree with you, i love how aneesa (the creator/editor of trob) has created these episodes not only with their story in chronological order (which is already so much work) but also incorporated messages throught the whole series that truly make you understand how bts is such an anomaly in the industry

I always love your discussions! I also don’t think I could be a member, but for opposite reasons: I can be loyal and team spirited, but I’m not ambitious or hardworking enough! I need my sleep and so much free time, otherwise I get so irritable 😅 Honestly huge props to them. Very very few people are that specific mix of personality traits (and kind, and funny, and talented, and have actual things to say!) It also has to be said: A huge factor in all of this was RM. He really cultivated an atmosphere during trainee days of mutual support and team spirit. Since he was the only one who was guaranteed to be a member (since the whole group was being built around him) it would have been so easy to become arrogant or mean. I respect him so much (especially as a 16 year old!!!)
8:30 the boys went to ISAAC (idol olympics) from 2014 until 2017 i believe, then their schedules started to get too busy and stuff and they stopped going, some people will say it's because they took selfies there so they were banned (it's not allowed) but this was just a joke that some believed it was true, they stopped because of their schedules!! There's the whole thing available on Kocowa i think but there's bangtan bombs of the members practicing archery and stuff to compete, there's also some fancams out there!!! In this one specifically (2015) it's a bit funny to see how the MCs completely overlooked BTS winning the race relay until they got to to the finish line, since they weren't the most famous at the time it's pretty common for show to do that, then in the following years when they had more attention, and has won before, they were the talk of the town!! I belive if you watched the Bonus Content and Deleted Scenes you'd see more clips of it, like Jk wrestling and Yoongi playing basketball with Jimin being his little cheerleader lol
Some of the other trainees for bts that didnt make it to the group actually said rm talked to everyone during the training period to make the environment more supportive and less toxic
i wanna point out that before (like 2nd kpop generations and even on 3rd kpop generation) there was this curse of the 7th year kpop curse (most kpop companies contracts lasts 7 years, then you can decide whether you keep on the team or not) so, with this example, and putting it context, you can understand that, before, it was more common to see kpop groups breaking up easily, and a minor number of groups that remain together and renew their contracts (for 7 years more)

yes the ISACs (idol olympics) are actually pretty fun and a way also for groups to get all together from different companies and do very physical activities, it's been a thing since the generation of idols before bts i think, but bts has not participated since a few years back (i think they stopped after 2016/17)
