Given everything Robin has been through, she is still well adjusted. She lost her parents at a young, she was raised by her uncle, she lost her first love to AIDS, she herself contracted HIV, she got her heart broken again by Jason. Robin can be sanctimonious, judgmental, and even sometimes annoying, but one thing that makes her stand apart is her heart. Robin is still the only one in this soap with a moral compass. She puts other needs above hers even down to her family, which is not necessarily a good thing. Yet she has been judge by Carly whose moral compass is that of a snake. Robin has never hurt anyone intentionally or maliciously.
I mean I could understand Roberts hatred towards Carly she was sleeping with Jason when Robin and Jason were together did everything she could to come between them and Robin told the truth about Michael Carly pushed her and she know she did by telling her that she wished she could have a kid with Jason when that's low
I’ve been re watching this story line, I think Robin is re-acting to what she heard Lisa said about Patrick leading her on by flirting and acting jealous, asking for a divorce is Robin’s way of putting those walls up around her again.
I never really followed the scrubs storyline that closely but this scene really broke my heart! Patrick was really great here and Robin! I got all teary eyed watching it!
This is what makes no sense to me with the storyline. Robin is willing to throw away a marriage because of one time that Patrick did something, based on what she thought Patrick was like in the past. but Patrick did 180° change because he loved Robin that much. I know Robin hates counseling but why would the writers not realize this is the best thing. right now Robin and Patrick need counseling, as far as I believe, Robin should’ve been in counseling for years, that would help her through her abandonment issues and actually having some sane relationships without so much turmoil.
You know Robin‘s done things I imagine that she’s incredibly sorry for, telling AJ that Michael was his that was a pretty heart wrenching thing to do. Her and Jason seem to find their way back to each other not as a couple, but as friends. What about all the things that she’s forgiven Sonny for doing?
What shocks me about this whole conversation is in the beginning Patrick seems almost lackadaisical like he doesn’t seem to believe that Robin would ever want to end their marriage, and at the end he’s crying.
I wonder if this is the conversation that Patrick remembers when Lisa has him come to see her at Shadybrook when I think this May 2011., after her trying to kill Robin with the heater in the basement. Lisa telling him he’ll never be faithful to Robin.
I love scrubs but I definitely think robin made a mistake when she didn't divorce Patrick. The next three years of her life were a total nightmare because of Patricks cheating. I think they should have divorced and then robin leave town instead of "dying" and then re marry someday

I could’ve seen Robin leave with Emma until this got taken care of especially when Lise was released from Shady Brook and Patrick had a fight. But I honestly believe Patrick had said OK Steve and the board a GH, it’s me or Lisa.. they would’ve got rid of Lisa. she could’ve still tormented them not working at the hospital with Patrick and Robin could’ve worked their way back to each other
