- it is time to head to the rooftop of the mansion and fight alice aduraice and defeat her just like in the classic mario the music box. I almost cried when i got this ending.

this for some reason reminds me of Mario and the Music Box with that ending where Alice is free of the curse but Mario sacrificed himself letting the curse attach to himself as a result everyone of the Mushroom Kingdom forgot who he was basically erasing their memories of him existing
Mario taught Alice everything over the years he still had left before the curse would fully devour him (Alice's age got set back to a baby after the curse let lose of her to give context so Mario basically raised her) eventualy i think at Alice's 14th birthday or so mario had to say goodbye few days after that scene still left me heartbroken tho when luigi was the only one to remember his brother for few more days where everyone forgot
i know it is alot of text you dont have to read it if you dont want to just wanted to mention it reminds me of the music that played there
i don't mind reading the text.
