Can't believe how well made this video was. Resonated with me a lot. I've got ADHD and I am very much like you described yourself. Very interesting. Thanks for making this.
Dude Google is spying on me. I encountered this exact problem this week. All summer long I had a routine much like yours, I was going to sleep at 10 and wake up at 5 with energy levels going through the roof. But since uni started, about 3 weeks ago, my routine started to fall apart. I made all the changes possible so that I can feel that I'm giving every second of my life a purpose. But this only made me anxious. Perfectionism creeped in and it took a toll on my mental health. I think my main problem is that I always feel like I'm behind life, and this gives me the false belief that I can't afford to waste a single minute. Gr8 video, made me realise that if I constantly burn out I'll lose more time than if I'd took some time off consciously.
I get that too, and then at some point I hit a day where I end up doing totally nothing because I poured myself into whatever I was obsessing about. In the end its all a wave on a graph as far as I can tell.
Great video Jake. My suggestion is to take it easy on yourself by scheduling into your weekly routine time for recreation like travel, reading or listening to music. That should help keep you out of the gym on rest days.
Your experiences of fixation, reliance on routine etc resonate with my own experiences with autism. I'm a recent diagnosis but it's made so many things make sense. And it has helped me accept things I used to worry about too 😊 I wonder if you are on the spectrum 🤔. Regardless, thanks for the video and well done on your progress bro.
Thank you! I have no formal diagnosis but I likely suspect I am. Having spent a lot of time working in a supported learning environment has taught me a lot on how to manage my own sensory needs & experiences. It's all a journey of discovery. Wishing you all the best.

I must say I have let myself sink further into total obsession with it all. Spent all weekend making videos for the channel.
Damn, a lot of points in this video really resonated with me! Nice work
Cheers man!
Learning how and when to relax is important, not just to rest for the next day but to enjoy for the now
I think learning to relax is probably the hardest task for me.
