@@tooktookishere We all have our own opinions as none of us know them. I respect everyone’s view, mine is different to yours. If they get married and have kids so be it, if they stay friends forever, so be it. If they meet their perfect partners, so be it. As long as they are happy. My views are mostly for fun, as much as they joke about it as well
The reason that Brett didn't touch Eddy at 1:23 is probably because Eddy is so ticklish, and they wanted to get the shot in one take. When Eddy said he couldn't function without Brett, it came across to me that they are both better at certain things regarding shooting video.
It's funny watching this now, as a new Twosetter....because now they do live together. xD AND we also have a RUclips short where they fake kiss. Not to mention all the TikTok couples trends that they do together. haha. I don't get how some people don't ship them, lol. But to each their own. All jokes aside, they have such a strong bond with one another; it's rare, I feel like, to have such a close friendship like this. It's obvious they love and really care about each other (and I don't mean that necessarily in a romantic way).
I appreciate your ability to discuss what you see and explain why people ship their relationship. I have several thoughts on the aspect of why people ship them. They have a relationship and collaborative goal (their business Twoset Violin) that many people long for. I’ve been thinking about how rare this friendship is, and realizing that in my culture, this type of friendship is increasingly rare. I’m an older generation than them. I was graduating from College when they were born. I’m also from USA, but when I taught English in China, I did see that in the late ‘90s, it was still very normal and very “straight” for same gender students to touch, hug, hold hands and lounge on each other. In the US, I also held hands with older Asian women in friendship. But sadly white culture has reduced many same gender relationships to no touching in my country. (Edit: I am white, cis, mostly straight woman and in a relationship with a Chinese husband for more than 20 years) I bring this up to simply acknowledge that touching, holding hands, rump slapping and even kisses to the face aren’t universal signs of romantic love. For comparison, in the USA, men who play American football often slap each other on their behinds. It is masculine and straight in the context of the sport. I think that B & E do have to be conscious of the way they interact on camera. When Brett says, “I love you,” it is more an indication of his generation, and his comfort in expressing emotions than a signal of intimacy. (It’s on camera, so it isn’t really a confession of love in the romantic/intimate sense. It is very uWU ) I also do notice the kind, loving and caring way that Eddy gazes Brett. This is a type of love, for sure. Whoever gets that kind of caring look really is fortunate to have found “one of the good ones.” It’s also interesting that I have an adult child who is one generation removed from B & E. Among his peer group, same sex relationships are standard, and shipping an older generation of role models is very common. All of this says nothing very specific. I’m not trying to make some grand point. I’m just giving you some feedback from my perspective of a generation when same sex relationships were whispered about, but were not yet portrayed in media when I was growing up. I think Twoset BAE is one of the more wholesome ships out there. And they definitely play it up to the camera. I hope they both find relationship happiness and figure out how to maintain their business while also supporting their partner(s) ;)
Thank you for the insights you shared. I agree in some cultures it’s normal. In South Africa where I’m from it’s not, so I guess I grew up in a different environment. HOWEVER living in another country i noticed with some cultures it’s ok. I think they are super cute, shipping aside, and I wish them only happiness, whatever shape that may take. If they both get married to other people and have a bunch of kids that’s also cool by me 😀 if they never get married, at least they have a life long friendship in each other.
@@BreddyBang I think they are a great example of friendship that people aspire to have. I agree, they have each other, and that is so cute to see and even ship.
