At that point Ben wasnt rich, so the father in law did not want his son in law to owe his daughter so much in case of a divorce. So 1million still is considered a lot, think about if Ben would not have made it, would get divorced at some point and would then need to pay his ex wife 1million. That would be a hard task, and 10 millions would be a life sentence. Nah the father in law is just a good realistical man and didnt want Ben to get in future trouble. Noone could know that Ben would get this wealthy.

Tia Mowry is a great example.

This way, each understands their role and what they can expect from their partner. It is a signed contract that simply lays out the ground rules & bottom line. If more people did this & actually took it seriously, less divorces would occur. Because it is WRITTEN DOWN, rather than just spoken, there is no confusion OR forgetting.😂❤

To make conversation I asked them how soon after they met their husbands did they know he was the man they would marry? They all started thinking, then the oldest one spoke up first: "Ten minutes", she stated.
The other grannies slowly nodded in agreement. They knew immediately, as soon as they met them, that man was their future husband.
And then the oldest woman told me seriously: " If you don't feel that way about someone, don't marry them. It will never work."
She was right. When I met the "right one" it was like an electric shock. And that electricity never went away.

Also in Israel (marriage and divorce are religious in Israel based on your religion) and in religious divorce of jews it is completely legally binding and can even land the husband in jail if doesn't pay it.
