FYI -Back in the April 4, 1964 issue of Billboard, The Beatles occupied the Top FIVE songs on the Top 100 Singles Chart. So, having multiple songs on the chart at the same time is not just a 21st century phenomenon.

I feel like I’m one of few people who absolutely despises this song. Like the hook just makes me feel like I’m desperately completing an employment sheet to work at McDonald’s

To think I am not familiar with this song…. I don’t listen to Top 40 radio because it is more like Top 15 radio. I listened to the song before viewing the video. It is okay, kind of catchy, but, in my opinion, not even worth 3 million streams. However, I will watch the video and maybe get an insight on what could be so special about this song and mix.

Wow, a suprising amount of curmudgeons in the comment section. You don't have to love the song to appreciate the lessons. It's okay to have musical taste outside of the mainstream, but you can't pretend like the millions of people that enjoy this song are wrong for having an opinion of their own.

It is a decent to good mix, except it is too bottom heavy due to such an un-focuced bass. That was more due to a production decision to use electronica for the rhythm tracks WELL before the mix stage so I'm not blaming the mix engineer.
