Thank you thank you, this has been the third video I have watched showing how to use the envelope punch board correctly and I was left lost until finally my third video came up which was u actually showing correctly the way to use the envelope punch board, CORRECTLY!! I thought oh my word how easy. Why didn't the others explain it like you? One lady told you to turn you paper 180° instead of 90° something about making it come out right everytime and because the score line didn't work on the bigger pieces, which u also said happens but I like how you told how u fixed that situation when it does happen. This lady never said anything about not using the first score line on the other three sides. I sure hope she watches your video bless her heart!! Thank you again!! now I will be using my envelope punch board CORRECTLY, everytime!! Thank u!!!

OMG!!!! I bought this to make my own envelopes, but have ruined every one I’ve tried, because I was lining it up at the measurement at every turn and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I was doing wrong! There wasn’t any instructions, so I just thought I’d figure it out on my own. THANK YOU!!!

Not sure who would do a thumb down but.... if give 2 thumbs up if I could. All these tips always helps me and I'm sure helps the new crafters as will, I'm a new crafter but not a beginner so anything I can learn is great. Just like I learned I have been cutting my paper wrong and lining paper up on this punch board and my cutter wrong, I've been butting it over the line measurement I need not at the beginning of the line. So love it. Thanks so much for being wonderful and a great teacher on everything you do.

COMMENT, SAM ... You had far better luck than I had following WeR's notations on their envelope punch board! When I cut a piece of paper to 8 ⅞" and make the first punch at 3 ¾", as noted on the board for A6, I get a finished envelope of 173 mm X 114 mm !! FAR bigger than needed for an A6 card (148 mm x 105 mm). Since I was under the gun to get this project finished I settled for a slightly snug fit, using paper that is 8" square and punched at 4 ⅝" initially. I'm sure with more experimentation I'd get a better fit, but I think I'll just cut down the A6 cardstock I was gifted to A2 card panels, and forget the experimenting!!
BY THE WAY, "WEST of the PONDers": To those who also tried to make A2 ENVELOPES with mixed success, I've been very pleased with using HP PREMIUM 32# P R I N T E R PAPER (BEAUTIFUL "hand"; GREAT weight to be used for envelopes ... also works for card "liners" as you can use your printer to generate the sentiments!!), CUT to 8" SQUARE & 1st PUNCH at 3 ½".
Oh, in case no one's pointed it out ... some of WeR's punch boards have DIFFERENT dimensions specified on their faces!!! My cream w/ pale teal specifies 8 ⅛" x 3 ¾"; My crafty friend's GRAY board specifies the A2 dimensions ABOVE, and THOSE give us an appropriately sized envelope!!
    Be Well, ALL!!

Im not sure how old your board is, but a few years ago, WRMK did say that there was wrong measurements given on the grid, and they had replacements. Just a thought.

@@MixedUpCraft Did they come out with a Correction Video on RUclips that I missed?? Wouldn't it have been wonderful if so many of us hadn't trashed perfectly beautiful cardstock or "dsp" paper, or spent afternoons perusing available info sources -- or worse, sent their product to the LANDFILL !! -- thinking that we were just too dumb to follow instructions, never knowing the pertinent info was hidden under a bushel somewhere! Sorry ... had a moment of grump stuck in my craw ... I'm better now ... Be well, Sam, and thank YOU BUNCHES for all your wonderful videos!! 🥰

there's a website called www.thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster and the wonderful lady created a programme that allows you to put in the measurements of the box you need (height x depth x width) and you just click the calculate button and it tells you what size paper / card to start with and where to punch, hope this helps, I've been using it for ages!
