When I calculate probability of bingoing next turn like with your CINQS play, I have to factor in that I don't have great word knowledge. So, my actual probability of bingoing is lower, and I usually go for the immediate points.
Oh...CW. My first thought was "how likely are OUTYIELDS bingos?" And the answer is, there's a surprisingly good number of two-tile draws. WS gives you WISENTS, CS gives you INSECTS, DN gives you INDENTS with (RIN)D instead of (RIN)S...
Ah, good point! I definitely was aware of stuff like TENSION/RINS, wasn't so much thinking in terms of playing all the way down to OUTYIELDS with a bingo but that may further tip the scales in favor of OE
I could, though Macondo isn't particulatly reliable with that many in the bag (assuming your play doesn't empty the bag), so it might have limited utility
Dammit, I thought you were going to miss 5G THEREbY. You missed it when you iterated though the alphabet. Just once I would like to see a play.... Alas, opponent happened to block it. 😢
It's not that surprising considering Mack's 3 bingos were not very high scoring, totalling 203 points. Meanwhile the bot on the same turns had ARGENTIC, BRAZE, and QADI for a total of 214, despite only one of them being a bingo.
Hello Mack! Tough game, you had chances right until the end! Here is my Macondo/BestBot analysis, which suggests there is room to improve! 9G OIK sims 3rd (50.4%), behind 9F GINK (50.6%) and G7 E(L)K (50.9%) Exchange DDGJ sims 4th (36.2%) behind exch GGJ, GGJT, and GGJN at 36.3, 36.4, and 36.6% respectively 12E CINQS sims 4th behind exch CQ or Q, and 12H INSECTS, but jumps to 2nd in the inference sim winning 38.0%, 2% behind Exch Q on 40.0% PE(R)MEaTE is the best bingo! D1 UVULA(E) sims 2nd at 15.2%, narrowly behind 12K UVULA at 15.3%. All 2F bingos sim practically identically. OUTY(I)ELD is clear best move, and WAIF and JAM sims 1st aswell. Now time for the OE turn: C12 OE sims 7th (36.2%) behind 14K OE (38.1%), 12K and 1M ONE (39.2, 37.5%), 13A (JO)E (39.5%), and lastly 12K and 14J EON (42.4, 43.1%)
That intro has to be the most Kentucky thing ever 😂
They should train the rooster to crow every time a bingo is played

As soon as I heard the rooster disclaimer, I knew it was going to be a good video!
Another close loss to the bot... would you consider running an end game analysis for that OE turn? That would be intriguing.

Ah good catch! Perhaps I'd have found it if it wasn't blocked... we'll never know
@@mackmeller Probably. Aside, I enjoyed meeting your students at PDX. Now please stop making them so good.😂
This series is always bizarre. How often is one behind 47 points after playing three bingos in a row? I'm not a professional scrabble player
people swear the dice aren't loaded against mac. i remain unconvinced.

TONGUELIKE is maybe what you were thinking?
Maybe, or SONGLIKE perhaps
