This vlog gives me a warm feeling. To answer your question, I have gone swimming in a hot spring-fed swimming pool in Colorado. But swimsuits were mandatory. Excellent vlog. Glad no one fell off the trail. 🔥🔥👍👍😎

This is a good one! Never been in a hot spring, but skinny dipping in hot tubs back when I arrived in California in the '80's was an everyday thing, anywhere you were. That temperature is perfect! I'm going to have to try this.
I have skinny-dipped in several, clothing optional, hot springs with a group of friends. Our "weekends" were Wed / Thurs... so an occasional retired couple would show up and join us, about 50/50 that they would skinny-dip with us, but those that didn't were not judgmental about it.
Also want to thank Josh for bringing the drone, Utah is one place I've never been to in the winter. Absolutely Beautiful ! ...so are Josh and Sam, but that's a different story - lol I've done a lot of hiking, yet at my age, ...the ice... yeah, I would have joined Brett on the alternate route.

@@bob3782 It depends. How comfortable are you, being naked? When I'm among friends; more like we're showering at the Y. As to strangers; can be a challenge, as not everyone is socially flexible when it comes to nudity... even if it's posted as clothing optional.

Oh, good for you, for not being prudish. "your body is not a temple, it's an amusement park. Enjoy the ride". (some chef once made that statement...I tend to agree). Personally, I think everyone should go skinny dipping, or streaking, and in a mixed (male/femaie/etc crowd) at least once in their lives.
He did not exactly use those, but John Mayer had a song with essentially that message.
I don't agree with either of those statements. Keeping a swimsuit or underwear on wouldn't have made him prudish. It would've been comfortable or a teensy bit warm. Fun fact our junk is the 1st to fall off in extreme hypothermia. Yeah.
It's also giving like peer pressure vibes to call someone a prude because one doesn't wanna take it all off. Like that is totally uncool.🤨

I used to live near Cougar in Oregon. We had a hot spring that ran right next to a cold creek. You could jump back and forth between them. It was a lot of fun!

Omg, so awesome! I’ve been to that specific Hot Spring many times in my life. I live nearby. I admit I haven’t been for over 5 years though. To many ppl go there now.
You should check out Black's Beach in La Jolla/San Diego, California. An excellent nude beach close to UCSD and below the hang glider port.

There are many hot springs throughout the PNW states: WA, OR, ID, MT, and into British Coumbia. There is a book which lists them and tells about each one; where to park, how far to hike, any specific directions along trails, which ones are clothing optional, camping options nearby, etc. It is a door to so many fun adventures.

We’ve been to hot springs in New Mexico, but with a similar experience as yours with regards to how little nudity there was, in spite of reports.
That tree stump on the trail reminded me of a spot on the trail at Rock River in Vermont that always gave me similar trouble and didn’t have a good alternative. I assume you’ve been there, but if not, you’ve got to go (in summer). Perhaps on a hot weekday when it’s not overly crowded.

You did well, Chris - brave of you to be the only one. What I would suggest though, given the guys already there were comfortable with you being naked, is next time take your shorts in with you even if you aren't wearing them. Then, if someone new comes along and you aren't sure, you can slip them on underwater. Potentially, you could have spent the whole time au naturel and enjoyed it.
Not sure I understand why this is such a big deal. After all, all of us came into this world naked. Bodies come in many shapes , sizes, and type because that's the way we are made. Clothing is just socially accepted concept that folks do to stay protected from the elements or reinforce authority (i.e. anyone who has dressed up to go into an office has done drag).

There's a hot spring a couple hours east from my house in Eugene, Oregon. It's clothing optional there, too. It's supposed to be day use only, but people sneak in at night all the time.

If you ever get to Fairbanks, Alaska, see if you can fit a trip in to Chena Hot Springs! I was in the military and some friends and I went around Christmas in -30°F the first time. Nothing like a head full of ice, and sitting in a volcano hot springs water. (They also smelled like farts. 🤣) The Aurora Borealis rolling in colors you've never seen roiling over your heads as you lay floating waiting in a scene like Cthulu is about to come down from in some Lovecraftian story... I’ve been to Hot Springs, Arkansas but I don’t know if there are any ones that you can take a dip in. I made the mistake of trying to put my feet in not knowing how hot it was - it was way hotter than the one you went to. Me and my partner did have a couples bath and massages at one of the bathhouses there, highly recommend it if you’re ever in Arkansas!

Been many times. Hot springs are amazing, often the views (nature etc) are well worth the hike. If it's clothing optional, then I'm naked - period. It's just a dick and butt, most guys have them and virtually EVERYONE has seen a few. Go for it bud, you're beautiful and have nothing to feel weird about. Thanks for all the content. Hugz~

Yup. Sol Duc here in Washington state. The part that had the water in manmade pools, because they were accessible for my friends who are disabled. It was nice, but the wild springs up the mountain would be more beautiful.

Kinda reminds me of my time living in Denver in the mid 80s. After clubbing on both Friday & Saturday nights, we would go to my friends apartment on Speer Blvd (downtown) and take some drinks with us up to the hot tubs about 0230 am. Quickly our bathing suits became useless and everyone would be bare ass naked in the hot tubs, with frozen bathing suits lining the outside of the hot tub!! The absolute best part was when the snow would fall onto our shoulders while we were half sitting in the hit tubs, with plenty of grab-ass going on within the group!! 😅😅😮😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😊

You should check out Deep Creek Hot Springs in Southern California. Whenever I go, it's at least 25% nude, often more than half. I always go nude though, and often even do the hike nude.
Went to hot springs in Costa Rica, really nice and soothing. There was little waterfalls you could sit under and let the water flow over your shoulders, very relaxing!

As a queer guy who has visited naturist beaches and moved to Utah last year I’m disappointed on myself for not knowing about this place.
I've been in commercial hotsprings, so had trunks. But I've skinny dipped in lake tahoe in public. Tahoe is cold year round! 😬
Tremendously dangerous but totally worth the risk with no tumbles off the cliff. I follow everyone but Sam, doesn’t he have social media accounts if so please share. Looks like a great trip.

The closest i did to skinny dipping was me just wearing my tighty whitey, it was practically see through when it got wet. We were all guys anyway so a lot of teasing.
Great video Chris. Too bad the rest of the group didn’t skinny dip. I’ve enjoyed the hot springs in Colorado in the winter and the summer. It’s the best, so invigorating. The whole property is CO. So getting naked is not a problem.

There are several clothing optional hot springs in Oregon, and much easier to access. Some are deep in the forest and don't smell bad. Great relaxation.
