I tried Image to Motion a few days ago and was bowled over by the results. Can't wait to follow your steps and do something truly amazing. Thanks for posting.
Me too and I think it's only going to get better. Just remember to bring the motion strength down lower when using it for closeup shots (until they add some improvements).
I use a tool called Photo Vibrance which has allowed me to add motion to still images for some time. I hope that Leonardo allows us to add path markers to the image so that we can have some control over what we want to move and what we want stable. that will go a LONG way to improving this. Using the Canvas to apply those markers and generating it from there will also allow for out painting motion to be added as well.. I guess I am dreaming too big.... but I blame it on AI for giving me out of the box ideas.. LOL.. can't wait to see what Leo brings us in a few months.
I'll have to try that one. Yes, I agree and I think Leonardo AI will definitely add more improvements. I'm also hoping for path markers or a brush tool like in RunwayML. Considering how many updates and new features they've added in a short time, I'd bet that they will improve and add to it. To me, it's the best tool out there because of how much bang you get for the buck.
Your tip about setting motion speed to a low on close-ups made a huge difference in the rendering! Thank you. Question: Leo is my primary tool...is there a way to add music to an MP4 image?
Glad it helped. And yes, it can make a big difference. I've wasted too many tokens learning the hard way, especially with closeup shots. Do you mean you want to add audio to a Leo Motion image? If so, yes. I use Canva for this. There are 3 apps in Canva I use for Music. 1. Tunetank (royalty free music) 2. MelodyMuse (AI generated music) 3. Canva's Audio section (They actually have mainstream music and artists/popular songs. If you don't have Canva Pro and want to try it, I have a link where they'll give you 30 days free: partner.canva.com/LXyOaa
I made the image via Leonardo AI. Then upload the image into Canva and use HeyGen (use it within Canva). I actually made a video on how to do it. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/5fW-aQ7oKgU/видео.htmlsi=t6Rqktbgq-VBzjYw
personally the video quality seems better then runway or pika right now. sure you have a bit more limited optoins but for basic video clips from images i think its really cool!
I agree. And I feel like it's been improving more and more. It will be interesting to see what happens what OpenAI finally releases Sora for all of us.
Thank you very much for the video. If I understood correctly, in order to create a motion image that we want, we need the prompt of the initial (still) image to be made for the motion image? I ask because when I use image to motion from my old creations, it makes either just camera angle movement, or if it adds character movement, it's really bad. BTW, I'm using it to get slight movement of characters (like a woman smiling, moving her head or arm a bit, nothing major).
Good question. It’s usually pretty random how it works out. I find that if it’s an image with a person, lower the motion but if it’s with scenery, leave it in the middle or make it a little higher so it creates more noticeable motion.
I love this!!! Do you have tutorials for Leonardo, bc the platform is confusing for me. I like the many styles they offer without you trying to figure out the correct terms or words to use, etc. As a Black woman trying to get AI to create skin tone ranges can be difficult and a lot of used up image generation.
No you don't. Not at all. Did you click the links in the description? I never feature prompts in videos where you have to purchase it. It's right here, in this link. metricsmule.com/ai/chatgpt-prompt-generator/ All you need to do is visit this page and scroll down to the Headline "FEATURED ON RUclips" You'll see it called "Leonardo AI Motion" You can also find it here, by itself, easier to find: metricsmule.com/ai/leonardo-ai-motion/ I have about a thousand prompts on my website you can use (all free). Just make sure you always check the links in my description. If I feature a prompt, I will ALWAYS provide it to you plus hundreds of others, completely free.
Can this "new and improved" Leonardo create a soundtrack? . . . if not, then, what other user-friendly text-to-video generators are there that can create music videos for novices like me? . . .anybody
Try Canva. They have a lot of 3rd party apps for free that work well. You can use text-to-video in Canva via RunwayML and create text-music as well with an app called MelodyMuse. For AI text-to-music only, Mubert works very well. For other text-to-video: RunwayML and Pika Labs.
That's why I have a Leonardo AI playlist that contains 34 videos. I've created a video for every Leonardo AI update and new feature. ruclips.net/p/PLRgglpICqX7gEJxXyqD4M3v2foDkVmy6-

What do you think of it so far? It's pretty good and I know they'll keep making it better. I can probably cancel my RunwayML subscription now.

Once they start tweaking MOTION with some new updates Leonardo might be the best bang for your buck
Agreed. I'm sure they'll add more editing features like RunwayML's brush feature. But Leonardo AI keeps adding more and more, it's impressive.

I have a Leonardo AI playlist on my page. Try some of those videos too, maybe they'll provide a few more helpful tips.
Thank you I will and I will be getting your prompt list this weekend as well!! :) @@metricsmule
In Italy we use to say one word in these cases: Devastante!
Disaster? 😂
@@metricsmule Ahah yes but in a positive way! Like Taz🌪️
Hi, can I apply motion to external photos-images ?
Not yet, but I hear that hopefully in one of the updates.
Thanks very much, phenomenal.

when you guys do these videos, you never truly go step by step. this is not helpful to beginners like me.

Its giving bad results. Person doesnt move.
True. But only for now I think because it will continue to get improved.
Over edited and overly complicated and overly stretched
🙂 I get it. It's not for everyone. Happy New Year.
but none of you get it or why
and limiting in essence
