I agree about engraved pens! I found a set of 3 at an antique mall all engraved with “Frank M. Broz.” I of course bought them and now obsess over wondering about their previous owner Frank. 🤣
What a fun video - I love your currently over-inked videos. Beautiful pens and beautiful inks. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Also i don’t know how I remember all the pens and inks 😂 I don’t remember anything else lol!
Manda! Thanks for stopping by! 🥰😘 you seriously are my hero.. the things you remember.. I sometimes struggle with my own name, lol… glad you enjoyed it! Your turn now! 🤓😘🖋️🎉
My mother-in-law gave my husband a Sheaffer mechanical pencil with his grandmother's name engraved on it. He asked his mother if he could give it to me and she said yes! She was thrilled that I would want it. It is a cherished object.
what a great video! It's nice to meet another fpen person who uses B & BB nibs =) I love all your Vinta inks, Kobe Hydrangea, your Diamines & just almost all of them 😀
Thank you so much! Yes, you are not alone!! My store here in Albuquerque has to special order the nibs for me, all the other customers are more into fine nibs!! It really depends on your handwriting too.. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🎉🥰💃 🖋️
I like the yellow Koloro you have. Mine is red and has a medium nib and I like it so much. It’s one of the softest nibs and wettest writer I have. Your picnic is also a very pretty color. I have one in purple which I bought on sale to try the 1.4 stub. (It’s not my favorite color but all that was available. 😁)
Thank you for stopping by! I remember I expected the Koloro to be more orange, but I made my peace with the weird coloring because yes, such a good writer! I haven’t had the picnic blue for long and absolutely love it, they are both so great for testing samples! I’m with you on the purple, but I’d probably also have gotten it for a good price! I occasionally look around for another one, but just the Pelikan orange delight, so I try to be content! 😜Have a great weekend!
Wow wow, Frau Pelikan! I wish my brother was in Germany too instead of Minnesota. I'm going to drag my friends from the Ruhrgebiet to all the Pen Cities by bike Montblanc, Kaweco, Diplomat, Lamy and Faber Castell.
Oh seriously? That sounds so awesome! Have fun and do not miss the antique markets, I visited a great one by Wetzlar and one in Wiesbaden last summer and found reasonably priced pens among them the amazing Montblanc 12 (OBB). Also you can check on eBay Kleinanzeigen and have your friends shop for you! Oh and I love that… Frau Pelikan…. 😜😘🖋
I keep thinking about which ones I like best and it really is the vintage ones… but seriously if I didn’t know I could get help with fixing them if needed I probably didn’t have that many old ones. What’s your favorite(s) in your collection?
@@ziawoolzstudiobuzz313 I purchased a Waterman Expert that I carry with me everywhere and I enjoy that one. But I have a Pelikan m200 that is so smooth. I prefer that one, but it is so small. You are teaching me quite a bit about the vintage pens. I might buy one someday.
@@robbourne1950 watermen are such reliable writers, I just got one for my daughter. I’m glad you enjoy your pelikan M 200, but yes, not a big pen. I’m lucky to be able to buy vintage with the help of my brother in Germany or when I visit. Do keep my friend Joel in mind when you are ready for vintage, I got my beautiful M620 through him, not truly vintage, but used, so it didn’t break the bank.. happy Sunday!
@@robbourne1950 he’s my Pelikan man.. depends on what he has stocked.. did you see the website? He has a lot more pens in stock than are on there, tell him I sent you!
@@hanasonder thanks for stopping by! Happy sigh…., this is just a fraction of my pens.. I think by now I own 40 Pelikans, not all vintage and they have my heart along with Kawecos! I’m really lucky to have a specialist nearby who fixes pens and specializes in Pelikan. I go through phases where I ink more or less pens, I try to fit the inked ones into a box to be able to move them around easily. Right now I have 28 inked plus 8 of my twsbi Ecos, but I noticed I have some always inked like the Lamy 2000 (OBB) or Kaweco brass Supra (BB)(like yours) or Pelikan M400 white/tortoisegreen. I need to do some thinking on that! Again thanks for stopping by!
@@ziawoolzstudiobuzz313 I too am drawn to Kawecos and Pelikans, but I've spotted out some Schaeffers and other impressive pieces as well only among these. Amazing, will have to check out if you have more of your collection in other videos! How lucky having a Pelikan specialist nearby!
@@hanasonder thank you, Hana! I’ve been lucky - I found old stock Kawecos in a store in Germany last summer and my dad gave me some many years ago, he always was on the lookout for vintage pens at flea markets! Do you have flea markets where you live and eBay for locals? Only once did a vintage Pelikan have slight issues with the nib being too loose. All my others were always perfect!
😮😮😮😮 that Diamine Firestorm red!!! 😍
I tell you.. blew me away with the shading!! So gorgeous!! ❤️❤️❤️

Today we had Eve’s 11th birthday party in our house! This is the perfect way for me to wind down from a hectic day!
I hope she had a perfect day, happy birthday to your sweet girl! Glad you enjoy the inky stuff! 😘🖋️💕
Fun and soothing to watch as always!! I still need to find a pen that makes weeping willow look as good as yours does!!
Aaaaawww thank you, dear Elyse! I must say.. weeping willow in that M400 is indeed perfect… I feel the same! 🖋️💗

Kobe Hydrangea is on my list! I know Yoseka carries Kobe Inks but Hydrangea is sold out currently
Oh… no surprise, right? Soooo gorgeous! I’ll keep checking Yoseka , thank you! 🌼🖋️💕
