I'm pretty sure Midas has to actually HOLD the weapon in his hands for it to turn gold. If you just have it in your inventory and never HOLD it it won't turn.

Myths are interesting to try out but can take a lot of time trying to do them so thank you for spending your time on testing it.
Use the shadow flopper/cubes and go into the slip stream, aim to to launch out of it at the highest point of the slip stream, when out spam right click (On PC) or LT (On Console) you go really far if you do it right.

I discovered a better way to rotate. First, become a shadow then go on the bouncer and get as high as possible without going in the slipstream and then exit the shadow and deploy your glider. and boom

the easiest way to do it is to simply use the stone, then go in the slipstream, which is generally not more than 2 or 3 phases away
then exit it and glide forward at a straight line(not up) and periodically look up and phases to regain some height

Yeah it's weird how when you're using Midas with gold touch and then slows a rifle worked when you held it in your hands but when you didn't held the sideways weapons in your hands they didn't turn gold you just picked them up in your inventory and drop them it's probably why they didn't turn into gold because you have to hold them in your hands

Ok Imagine you could tame a Shark and ride it around the map 😂 All Player's most Infamous Enemy from season 13! The Shark! Also I genuinely forgot you could tame animals, Also these clips made me laugh a few times
I tried the flying one, it works LOADS better when you use the slip stream, I'm talking half way across the map

I like to think that the Sideways is "immune" to the effects or powers that some Loopers have due to it being from another reality altogether.
At least that's my lore explanation as to why Midus (hold the gun) and Mystique didn't work.

I would also recommend using the shadow stones + the crashed abductor jump pads
To activate the midas touch on your loadout, simply hold your weapon that you wish to be golden, and there you have it! Weapons that may not work are gun models that are new such as last seasons "kymera's Ray gun" because that also had some affects that might glitch out, that however is my side of things at least, so I hope you may understand how the midas touch works now goodbye.

If you get a cube fish, then put a launch pad closer to the barrier, then you will get way further, so spawn island is still plausible

My favourite combo is the little cube things and the permanent bounce pads. You can also use the purple tubes to speed you up as well
midas's touch does work on the sideways weapons youjust have to actually hold it not only pick it up and have in your inventory
Fun fact: if you eat a shadowstone and go on a Kevin bounce pad, you go FLYING

8:44 this does actually work, use a bounce pad with a car to launch yourself into the slipstream and you can fly w/ the car in the stram

If you want to do rotation fast.
Shadow stone boost into the bouncers.
You will travel way faster and cover more distance.
Much better than the launch pads.
I did the first trick with a slip stream, oh boy you should try it! I also did it with the bouncer too it works maybe better!
Well you can also go through the slipstreams with the shadow stones and get glider redeploy
Myth: can you get launched further with a shadow cube on the bouncers or the spire pads.
How are the spire pads still in the game though
Shadow cube + venom or carnage mythic + pepper = op
Shadow + pepper + bounce pad = op (you can't right click while flying or it will stop your momentum)

You CAN get a car into the slipstream if you drive up into it (as opposed to dropping on top of it, which is what they do in the video). There is a spot just west of Boney Burbs where the ramp into the slipstream touches the ground. I just drove an IO car into it and, once you are in, the car stays on the ground and can come to a complete stop.
9:36 midas’s gold touch does work you have to “hold” the weapon to make the golden touch to work so it’s confirmed

Maybe for the sideways weapons, u have to actually switch to them for them to turn gold for Midas. Also, I feel like if Sirenhead were to get added, they would wait like they did with Galactus and save him for a event of some sort. I'm not saying I see it happening, I mostly don't, but I'm saying if it were to I feel like that's what they would do.
7:31 i tried this one i playd battle lab online with my friend and somebody stole dr. stone gun so we tried to catch him but i tried catching the cube fish and puffer fish i gave it to my friend and told him to go catch him it will speed u up

Also you can fly across the map with or without the shadow stone when you just jump against the cube or on the bounce pad you get an amazing rotation

get 2 launch pads use one while haveing a shawdow stone and when they reach the world border use a shadow flopper and the other launch pad

Just to let you know Midas has to put his cursor on the inventory for the turn gold you can't just put it in your inventory for the effect

There are this purple vaults, try jumping on them, I did it and I went flying into the circle so I was saved from the storm
The reason the midas touch didn't work on sideways weapons is because he didn't hold it in his hand
Catch a shadow fish place the jump pad at the barrier, consume the fish and try to phase through the barrier

Peppers/alien pad/shadow stone is MEGA op, use it to get to zone every time
Use a pepper a Shadow Stone jump on a bouncer then Kevin then the slipstream and you go much farther. Trust me I've tried for a god rotation

If you phase through the cubes the millisecond after you hit one you used to be able to stand on the cube (but you can't do it anymore)
When the weapons are in your inventory you have to switch to that weapon to make the Midas touch work

Just so you know you can use shadow stones and a alien launch pads at the crash sites to glide about 1000 meters depending on which one you use.

Hey T5G, in Midas myth, u should not just pick up in ur inventory, u should also try to swap to that gun which u picked, just a friendly advice
Yeah that first trick can be done with the slipstream as well as launchpads, I use it all the time
The chicken does fly in the slip stream, it’s just the building was in the way for it to work, I tried it myself before

when you do the car with the boosting I did yesterday and I was with my dad on fortnite and I went flying and I hit a slipstream and I straight up took four damage and the car went took photos with me as well
For the last myth use the shadow fish and build the launch pad further out and activate it and jump on the launch pad
The first one u take shadow stone and u dash on kevin and then alien jump pad and u fly like whole map
Pretty sure you need to hold the weapon in ur hand to turn it gold (the golden touch sideways weapon)
