- ENGEL's powerful 2-platen machine is ideally suited also for the production of large waste collection systems. With a clamping force of 55000kN and a shot weight of 27.500g, the duo 5500 is producing 1100l waste containers with a cycle time of 140 seconds. The fully integrated automation with an easix articular robot as well as 14 cooling stations with synchronised take off contributes to the increased system performance.

Great machines Engel. But one dumb question. How long did it take to clean off the robots, h20 hoses, hydraulic oil, floor etc? Must have taken a good month. I know, I have 24yrs in plastic injection.
Please, you have experience in this field and I want to learn. Can I have a book to read?
@@djouaniaymen1352 my reccomendation to you is to google search books for injection molding. There's a huge variety on every subject from machine maintenance to setup to process engineering and statistical process control.
I run a molding department myself, and am a journeyman mold setter, process "engineer" (by job function rather than title), and have a bit over 11 years experience. There's a TON you can learn on your own if you know where to look, but ultimately it comes down to hands-on practice using that information you can read.
