Nice to finally see some Shark Byte footage from someone flying hard, which is the only way we can be sure about the latency (short of trying it ourselves). 👍
I agree with your observations. Doesn't seem worth while for freestyle, but for a race rig, any improvement with low latency is a step forward. Hopefully it will be durable enough.
Just wondering, I am thinking of the TX5S.1 VTX but this uses 2s-4s batteries. I f I use a step down Buck to 12v with an input 5-27v I could use this upto a 6s. This would reduce cost as I would only need 25-200mw for racing also weight, all this would be pending how the OSD gets its voltage readings, that is if it uses a UART. What is your advice on this?
I'd probably been doing the same for race quads. At my time of purchase I could only get the bigger vtx. I'd consider using a FC that's DJI ready. Most supply the 10v you'd need. The other thing is the 25.5 x 25.5 deal. You'd need to accommodate for that.
The reason for recording in TS format is that integrated DVR will record the until last second for VRX is powered off, i.e. out of battery.
Great to know! Thanks for that

Nice to see some fast racers giving this a shot!

Great flying, and I really appreciate all of the details you put in the comments section. Thank you, new supporter, +1 :)
Cheers Rader!
DJI FPV IS GOD
Thanks for the info and honest opinion...I’m still holding out till all the bugs (penetration/range) gets worked out...
Thanks Rob. Exciting times ahead I hope too.
thats clean video
Beast! Nice speed Scott💥💥💥
Sweet flying mate!

Do you think it would help with times to get this for racing?
Make no difference in my opinion. My times were comparable between shark byte and analog.
@@ScottTomlinson thank you
Nice Bro 😳😳😳😳 ,latency ?
check the description
Cool the video looks really nice can't wait to see it in the hands of someone that's fast🤣
lol
The best HD system for racing quads but it’s inferior to DJI system on video quality.
Why to much money for it
