    After a hesitant start comes a very enjoyable, well-balanced composition.
    This is carefully crafted as usual. I love what you did in the bass line of measure 20.
    You also managed the volumes perfectly. The melody stands out.
    Thank you, Daeyoun !

    I guess one could sort of claim LEARNING to play the piano is quick and easy depending on the method and level of proficiency desired to be attained. I mean are there ten easy steps to being able to play a Chopin Nocturne or a Beethoven Sonata or a Thelonius Monk jazz piece? If it’s a 1-4-5 rock tune or even a boogie woogie thing then possibly one could manage that in quick and easy steps. But any good musician knows there are no quick and easy steps to being a good artist. Having said that, there certainly are people out there that just simply want to play the piano or any other instrument as quickly as possible and that’s okay. But the example used in this video is a far cry from quick and easy. I don’t want this to be viewed as an attack because it is not my intention to be mean or critical. Rather, to point out that being a good musician does take dedication,discipline and hard work. If it were so quick and easy to do then everyone would be a good musician because almost everyone on the planet wants to consider themselves musicians.

      I always try to use as few notes as possible because I want many performers to be able to enjoy my works including beginners. But, this song has a lot of movement in the range, so it would be difficult for beginners to play some parts. And I totally agree that it takes a lot of effort and time to be a good artist. Thank you for sharing your idea!

    Very nice arrangement. Very warm. I see a lot of korean jazz pianists on youtube. Is jazz big or special in korea?

    • @rumbol2
      @rumbol2  9 месяцев назад +3

      Thank you for listening! I think jazz market is so small in Korea. There is a lack of stage for jazz and less public interest. So, it seems that many jazz pianists want to show their music through RUclips.
