replacing the sensors on our RV tanks (grey and black)

  • had a issue with our sensors not reading on our grey tank last time we went camping. black tank was fine, but decided to do all of them. total of 8 sensors. assuming they were original is also why i replaced them all.
    got them from amazon, if you type in rv sensors they will pop up. not a hard job to do but the position of them make it tough, good luck

    My gray tank reads 2/3 full regardless of how much water I have in it. I have tried cleaning the tank by filling it with dish soap and water and flushing it out to no avail. Nice to know the sensors are easy to replace.

    You probably shouldn’t use axle grease because that type rubber isn’t resistant to petroleum products. I would suggest a silicone lubricant.

    Nice video. I would use dishwashing soap instead of grease. Grease may damage the rubber.
