The Lion King - Kopa's Life Story

- Kopa is found in The Lion King, Six New Adventures comic series. He is the son of Simba and Nala, and his name means "Heart" in Swahili.
This video goes over all the main details in Kopa's life. Most of Kopa's life isn't cannon, so I theorized his life with the plot I thought makes the most sense :)

My theory (based on other people's theories) is that when Kopa was young, he fell in love with Vitani. Zira used this as a way to get back at Simba for murdering Scar. And attacked Kopa, leaving him to die. (Many theories have him dying here)
But I think Kopa survives, but was too afraid to return, so he runs away, much like his father. And that is when he finds A hyena clan that he befriends and stays with. He becomes fond of one hyena in particular named Asante, and they become best friends. They live together for a long time, but Kopa decided he needs to return home to his family, which he does, and reunites with his long lost love Vitani. And lives out the rest of his days, happy, with his family on pride rock.

I think the story of him meeting Vitani then getting almost killed by Zira and him returning as an adult lion is a good story they should make Kopa a canon character so if they ever make a lion king 3 it should be about his return

He is Simba’s first son, who appeared in the comics between the first and the second movie. He isn’t cannon, but his whole life story has been created by the community

I personally think his story lines up pretty good with the actual lion king, Zira killed kopa for revenge on simba for killing scar, and becuase she still wanted Kovu to be king. That would explain why simba is so protective of Kiara. I dknt care if he isn't Canon, people can believe what they want
