Jungkook isn’t in a relationship that we know of! Most people are super supportive, but theres always some people who arent supportive of it because they view idols as “their husbands” or whatever. Its pretty toxic, but thankfully mostly everyone is super supportive of them finding partners. I think it does get to be a problem when reporters start stalking them to see if they do have these relationships because they dont respect their privacy and try to “expose” them. When this happens, a lot of fans get angry because they get no privacy. In korea, dating among idols is seen as a “scandal”, so it’s a pretty big deal over there.
An advice I can give you is to not trust everything you see on the internet. Jungkook is not dating anyone as far as we know. There was a rumor that he was dating a girl a few months ago, and yes some people were upset by it. However, the members have been honest in the past and told us about their previous relationships but that’s all. I’m not so sure where you got that conspiracy theory from 😂. Just try to focus on learning the members and listening to the music and get into all the drama later. Great videos though!

Their contract doesn't include a no dating clause. Your other reason about jealous fans is probably the real reason. There are crazy people who view celebs as public property and get very upset to realise they're humans with private lives.

Here’s what international fans need to know, most of kpop idols are not allowed to date or even they date someone, they better keep it secret, it’s just how it is in their industry. So please for the fans don’t say that their not true fans if they don’t accept their idols dating. Because from the beginning all kpop idols knew this rule, they’re belong to their fans and they need to keep seperate between their private lives and career, and they need to keep their image good and not get into a scandal (like dating etc) . It's a CCTV footage most likely a picture of Jungkook backhugging a girl, which is a tattooist and a friend of Jungkook, but some fans took it very serious that they started bashing the girl even after they both denied it. After that dating rumor of Jungkook, he started to get attack by more rumors very often and now is recieving a lot of hates from haters. You can search it up on Google about it.
I think you might've been talking about Jimin, he announced once on Ellen that he was in a relationship. However, now he says he's single. Most of the ARMY are really supportive of them having a relationship, but, some ARMY's think that members belong to them or something (I really don't get it) and would start hating the other partner afterwards or members themselves. Which is why some members probably prefer to keep it secret if they're in a relationship which is understandable.

Each of the members is shipped with each of the other six members by SOMEONE, and a lot of "fans" blow up if there's even a hint of a relationship with one of the guys and a female, regardless of who she might be. A picture surfaced of JK hugging a girl and a lot of people got all bent out of shape about it until it came out that she was his tattoo artist and they were not dating. There are also several RUclipsrs that are known for extreme exaggeration in the titles of their videos, for click bait. If you actually watch the video, though, there's not really anything to it. They'll even do stuff like have a title about the boys' marriage plans, for example, only for it to be about something they said at a fan meet 5 years ago. Everything is just hints and speculation.
The 8th member thing is just an inside joke And jjeoreo: BTS has a song called Jjeoreo (쩔어) and the official title in English is Dope, so I guess the translation is dope because obviously "snatching wigs" in Korean doesn't make any sense unless it's literally snatching wigs lmao Oh and, most armys ship the BTS members with eachother as if they are gays (the most famous ones atm are Taekook or Vkook (Taehyung (V) and Jungkook) and Jikook (Jimin and Jungkook)) But some ship them as literal gay couples and others just as friends (which is my case, even tho I'm also ok if some gay content comes up 👁️👅👁️). The members themselves already said that they don't like us to ship them like that (insert Taehyung's famous comment on Weverse to an army who was shipping him with jungkook: "Get out of your imagination, it's not good in there"). ARMYs can be very dirty minded but we are also educated and most of us know how to respect their privacy

To answer your question about some people having a problem with idols dating... they think that just because they buy their cds and merch they think that they OWN the person, they can't stand the person being in a relationship and think that idol betrayed them and they just wasted their time and money on them. An example is EXO's Chen getting married and having a baby and some delusional fans staged a protest, boycotted him, burned all his merch and petitioning for him to leave the group. Idiotic really.
None of the members are actually in relationships with anyone. They've even asked their fans to stop shipping them with other people and each other. At some point the members will start to date and settle down so their fans should stop being delusional about getting with them and just chill out and be happy for when that time comes. Also as you will notice in more videos the boys are very touchy feely with one another. It's not because they're gay tho. There's a thing called skinship in Korea where people like skin to skin contact with other people. The boys have said stuff to make others believe that they aren't straight either, so I would just go about not bothering with their sexuality or talking about boyfriends and girlfriends with them. The dating issue is not a Army thing its Kpop idols in general. They can't even date without a scandal. One guy from EXO had to apologize for marrying his long term girlfriend and having a child. Men have been kicked out of groups for dating. It's so ridiculous. They have articles and videos about it.
Shipping can be a very sensitive topic. I personally don’t mind it to a certain extent. It’s cute to think about but some people to analysis videos basically trying to out the members. This can be very bad because the LGBTQ+ community is not well accepted in Korea. I would not mind at all if the members were apart of that. I actually think the member Yoongi is bi/pan because he had said before he doesn’t really pay attention to gender while dating but focuses on the persons personality!
I think other people answered the dating thing. We just try to respect their privacy and leave it at that. I don’t even click on that stuff and give views to the speculations. As for the touchiness, it seems hard to understand for westerners but you should think about it like girls in girl groups here. There are many delusional shippers in the kpop fandom that will watch specific idols reactions just to see their ‘moments’ which mostly include bowing which is a normal thing to do in Korean culture. It’s honestly annoying and those ships aren’t even real. A lot of armys (BTS’s fandom) also ship the members together for fun and some are delusional but that’s a small percentage. Anyways, armys find it fun and cute to ship them. Also, BTS are really close like brothers so skinship is normal to them.

I'm one of those fans who don't feel entitled to Bangtan's private lives so whether they're dating or not isn't that important to me. For example I heard some time back Joon was dating someone. I was like: oh ok cool. If he wants to share that knowledge with us he will and if he doesn't want to then ok. It's his life. The same applies to the rest of the members. If a relationship they're in gets real serious (like that's not their GIRL that's their WOMAN) then yeah fam introduce her. To answer your question about some people having a problem with idols dating... they think that just because they buy their cds and merch they think that they OWN the person, they can't stand the person being in a relationship and think that idol betrayed them and they just wasted their time and money on them. An example is EXO's Chen getting married and having a baby and some delusional fans staged a protest, boycotted him, burned all his merch and petitioning for him to leave the group. Idiotic really.
None of the members are actually in relationships with anyone. They've even asked their fans to stop shipping them with other people and each other.
At some point the members will start to date and settle down so their fans should stop being delusional about getting with them and just chill out and be happy for when that time comes.
Also as you will notice in more videos the boys are very touchy feely with one another. It's not because they're gay tho. There's a thing called skinship in Korea where people like skin to skin contact with other people. The boys have said stuff to make others believe that they aren't straight either, so I would just go about not bothering with their sexuality or talking about boyfriends and girlfriends with them.

I'm one of those fans who don't feel entitled to Bangtan's private lives so whether they're dating or not isn't that important to me. For example I heard some time back Joon was dating someone.
