Appreciate TonyMontana for bringing up Isaiah 58:1. He is inferring that we have a biblical precedence for a group of people to just pull up outside a local church without permission and loudly condemn that church, its' leaders, and members way of trying to worship the God mentioned in English versions of the Torah/Holy Scriptures. I see a few things wrong for using that approach in the new dispensation of YHWH Elohim. Firstly, Elohim has specific instructions for those called to proclaim His gospel or His words and warnings to the intended audience. Just because it's written in the Torah/Scriptures does not mean it was intended for every preacher, proclaimer, etc. The Most High told Noah to build an ark of gopher wood. If we like, we can go build an ark of gopher wood to help warn and save souls. Then He told Ezekiel to convey His message if warning by lying on his left side 390 days and then on his right side 40 days. If we like, we can mimic this because it's in the Torah. Secondly, Isaiah is not the measuring stick. Yeshua is the measuring stick and we should "follow in His footsteps". But even Isaiah gave us the way that Yeshua would operate once He tabernacles on planet earth: Isaiah 42:1-2 declares 'Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will NOT CRY, nor Raise His Voice, nor cause His voice to be HEARD in the STREET. Thirdly, we have the privilege of living under the New Covenant where the Holy Spirit Himself is ubiquitous everywhere operating in us, the beloved of Elohim. Included in the ministry and work of the Holy Spirit is convicting the world of sin, pointing them to the Savior, etc. Yes, we are privileged to be the co-workers of Elohim; however, gentleness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, not rudeness; Fourthly, we must preach the truth in love like Paul who quietly went to Sabbath services and once inside attempted to convince those unbelieving Jews of the uniqueness and power of Yeshua; Fifthly, Israelites and Hebrews no longer operate under a Theocracy; and finally (for the sake of time), if we are walking in Elohim's commandments and in the center of His mercy and grace, He will put plenty of people in our paths to share the gospel, convict and correct mistaught believers, etc. In closing, I sincerely appreciate the response and I know the gentleman means well, and probably has no qualms in further discussing this topic with me in the love of Christ. I was glad to see you guys in Albany, Georgia, my hometown. They have few decent paying jobs remaining. Several corporations left, black owned businesses diminished, and the resources for the flood was rerouted to the North side of town. No activities for the kids.
