Appreciate the rundown. I'm a non-cvo where single connection 5X7 boom Lid and 5.25 Boom fairing speakers were added with or without an amp. Not sure. Guy I bought the bike from used a different set of lids, so should call you guys to see what my options are. Sounds like I could get an amp to increase the sound or if it has one, maybe I need to swap out speakers and add an amp. Will be calling you guys soon to figure best route.

‘17 Limited. 2 in the fairing, 2 in the tourpack. Love how it sounded.. until that right rear 6.5 let go. 😂

I am in the process of installing a Euphoria system in my 2019 Road Glide CVO and I have sound to the front speakers but I, for the life of me, cant figure out the rear lid speaker connections. Its the boom 2 system connections and I have all the bypass plugs but I have about 3 left over and have a feeling it has something to do with those. From what I can see I have all the connections where they need to be but I am missing something. You guys seem the most knowledgeable all this so I'm reaching out for help.

How can I put speakers in my lids for a 2014 cvo ultra limited without another amp. I have a tour pack but it seems like I should be able to use the lid speakers when the tour pack is off and vice versa?
You would need an aftermarket amp, the boom amp cannot do this
Hi there. I have a GTS radio and I just updated to a iPhone 15 PRO and now when I plug into my USB it doesn’t recognize the new Phone?
Is there anything you’ve heard that might fix this. I ordered new cables that have a USB A to USB C.
Do you have your gts flashed for CarPlay? I have a 15 pro max also and have had no issues connecting

It won’t be plug n play but can be used for signal to hardwire other amps
is there a way to get the bass the Boom system has from either the hertz or kappa perfect 6X9’s?
There is a fine line between bass and distortion, the boom system has so much bass you can not hear the audio clearly, the infinity and hertz option both add a lot of mid and high with the bass. 6.5” and 6x9” speakers can only make so much bass, when add more mid abs high to add volume and clarity we perceive less bass since we have more of everything else. I think the closest speaker to stock boom bass and still has higher volume and clarity is the precision power speaker lineup, it’s just 2 completely different sounds between full range (boom and precision power) and the hybrid loud speakers without horns (hertz neo and infinity kappa perfect)

I have 2020 street glide special with boom gts and front fairing speakers. Can I just flash radio and install a pair of your 6.5 speakers and improve the sound quality?
You only flash the radio if adding an aftermarket amplifier and speakers
I have a soundigital 400x4 in my 2018 road glide special with TMS65 6-1/2, I noticed in the amp there's hi level in plugs in it for 1-2 and 3-4...if I upgraded to a full stage 2 hertz amp/soundstream radio what would happen to those hi level input plugs going into the soundigital amp? Dumb question I know.
If you buy a hertz stage 2 package from us it will come with all new wiring so you should remove all components that were added for your sound digital install
@@volunteeraudio okay.. I guess I'll have to tear into before I place my order here in the next week or two.. To figure out how it's put together since I got it used. Hopefully it's simple and not a poor splice job with the speakers in the fairing. I remember seeing Harley labels on the speaker harnesses though in the Pods

My battery completely died and now for some reason I don't feel my 2022 Street Glide Special's Boom Box doesn't seem as loud as it was before...Could there be an issue.
Hard to say, stock radio should not be effected by battery disconnect other than eq settings

It’s the factory boom amplifier, it’s only available through a Harley dealer and must be flashed on, there are much better amplifiers available for less money
Can you install boom audio stage 2 on a 2006 Harley street glide I just got the amp and 4 speakers off marketplace for a very good price and I am wondering if there’s a way to make it work on a 2006
Actually it’s the stage 1
The amplifiers use a data turn on and only work with 14-up Harley

I've heard rumors that new speakers have to have a break in period. Is this true ?
I don’t believe in that, we do not have a break in period with our soeakers, I think this is a trick to get you outside of a return policy
I have a 14 SGS with lowers, all with boom 1 (was the only option at the time). So I have boom 1 speakers with tweeters in the fairing and larger boom 1 speakers in the lowers. All with single amp in fairing. The fade works as expected with ability to fade up and down. I’m 5’8” and I can here system clearly with 8” windshield @100mph.
A work around for the lousy equalizer issue with the factory amp: I plug my iPhone into the system and use the phone as the equalizer. It actually sounds pretty decent. I also use the iPhone as my navigation because the HD nav sucks (even worse than the factory equalizer).
I already have a wheelbarrow full of money in this scooter, and I’ve only put like 69k miles on it. I figure as long as the factory setup continues to function (satisfactorily) I’ll keep dealing with the work arounds. I’ll probably get me a new scooter at 100k miles anyway. However, if it breaks before replacement time….You’ll have another customer.

Hogtunes is not an upgrade, we pull it out quite often
