I followed this video and failed my NR EMT practical. Missing steps:
1.) Failed to check for dense bleeding.
2.) Failed to announce that I was removing the shoe.
3.) Failed to check Circulation, Sensory, Motion before splinting.
4.) Failed to check Circulation, Sensory, Motion after splinting.
5.) Failed to announce priority of the patient.

but if you're at the splinting station- you don't have to check for bleeding or announce priority of patient. definitely must remove shoe and check csm obviously

How do you immobilize a fracture to ulna/radius?

Please tie the knots in the outside. I doubt anyone wants to feel like you are trying to feel up on them while they are hurting. It's very an inappropriate and the right Patient will sue.

Oh I see you’re bleeding to death, I’ll not touch you and apply pressure and save your life because some people think this might be seen as “ feeling you up”, according to people who made the comment I’m replying to.
