chase thurman Chael was once at a park (Chael was only 11 at the time) and he saw some strange guy take a piece of gum out of his pocket. The guy put the gum in his mouth and just threw the wrapper on the ground! He publicly littered! And Chael saw it, at such a young age he had such an experience! Sure someone eventually picked up the wrapper but for rhe few moments where that wrapper was on the ground the law was violated in his neighborhood right in front of his very eyes!!

Actually he said in some interview that early in his career he did not use to talk trash. And that kept him on the undercard. He added that if he did not reinvent himself he might have to keep fighting on undercard forever. So he started promoting himself and became the "Self Proclaimed Gangster" the king of trash talk

i'm not really a "fan" of chael but dude i love his style. like what he is about. he understand it's all about the paycheck fck everything else fck feeling people out or w/e go out fight and get sh!t done. i do amateur stuff myself and all i know is if i ever make it to the big times i will guarantee you it will never go to decision all i know is i'm either knocking someone out or submiting them or it's getting done to me but thats why i love his style he goes out and gets sh!t done he doesn't just wait like a panzy or stall or anything he fights and isn't afraid to get knocked out or submitted thats HOW everyone should fight. u watch dos santos and velasquez 3 and i don't see how that was even a fight it was just a hug fest. least this guy again doesn't have that fear mad respect to him
