Brother this is the current hector base variant. They have not changed the face for base Variant. You can check in MG website. Base model gets the old face only

5:17 is not attention to detail, MG parent company is good in steeling patent or forcing their partner to give patent in that way this tail light module is robbed from Audi Q series, in U.S it’s mandatory to have secondary tail gate light when tail light is attacked to the trunk of the car. Audi does manufacture and export form china under the help of SAIC not only VW group all other bands use SAIC share some of its old patent or design to get manufacturing in china and sell in china as well because Chinese is the big market for them.

Regardless of its origins, this feature is essential and every brand should offer it. German brands understand its importance, which is why they consistently provide it. I'm glad that the Hector includes this feature too!
