This is a good switchfoot story, read if ya like wholesome Moments: so I saw them at this festival in the mountains of NC that is like a Christian Coachella, right? Lol well, they were the headliners for the entire thing. And they were pretty much the ENTIRE reason I was there. Well, I got to the stage THREE hours before they went on. And like there was 10-15 people there that were just gonna stand there for 3 hours while everyone else was off to see 2-3 performances from other artists. I’m literally the closest you can be to them… and this song comes on. And just like ALL the songs I knew every word. Well, right before the last verse, Jon Foreman (lead vocals) points at me and crouches down on the stage, and gets like right in my face and holds the mic right between us and looks at me like “sing it with me” soooo I’m 6 inches from him and we start singing “gone like Frank Sinatra. like Elvis and his mom.…” and we went to the high note “ doesn’t last for… longggg” and I thought he’d stop.. but no, he let me sing THE REST of the song with him!! And everybody was cheering, I was on the big screens up front, and it was AMAZING. He high fived me right at the end and pointed at me as he walked away with a look of like “YEAH!” and I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the night, right?! Well after the concert, I for sure went to their table after for an autograph and when I got up to em I said “Jon, thanks SOOO much for letting me sing with you!” And he was quick with it, “THANKS for knowing the words bud! That woulda been embarrassing for both of us” 😅😂😅😂😅 and they all dabbed me up and Jon gave me a hug and free merch/autographs… it was and They are amazing! What a memory!!!! I will never ever forget it ❤❤❤
