I've been here recently (I didn't know where I'm going only when I arrived) and it was surreal driving through that gate. It is breathtaking and the whole neighbourhood too. With that said it was bin collection day: the garbage truck was cleaner than a public transport bus, and it's crew looked better than a Waitrose manager.

That's just the bed area. It also has twin dressing rooms, twin ensuite bathrooms, sitting room, mezzanine level and private terrace. In fact, looking at the floorplan, the master suite takes up the entire rear of the house's upper floor.

For by that time , The rolls Royce , the chauffeur and the butler are in the front seat soak and wet , as too the owner of the houses wife , is sitting in the back and emmersed in water.

It’s so plain on the inside though. Decor doesn’t really harbor any personality. Being able to afford beautiful and ornate things is a more true signature of wealth.
It’s all a matter of personal taste. I think this is a beautiful house. Over the top ornate to me is a symbol of too much money and no taste.
I love the house but I honestly feel like it’s a bit empty. Like there’s not much flavour to it.

Too green, too wooded, too shady. Great in many ways though.
The absolutely stunning French provincial exterior cloaks a disaster for an interior... With the house that lovely on the outside there was only one way to do the interior, transitional stiles complement each other and you can just sprinkle in modern, but they have a traditional exterior with that radical an exchange in style is just fundamentally incongruous with taste.
Subtle panache was the play.
It does not look like it's worth £22,000,000.
It's the UK....although a beautiful house and gardens..abroad you could get twice as much.

A few jarring design errors...you had better never come home a bit tipsy, ‘cause the tricky drive up to the house in your (beautifully red) Bentley Continental GT might be a disaster. “What do you mean there’s a car in the water feature?!” The furniture the tasteless idiots used to stage the home is really a textbook example of what not to do when marketing a very expensive property. Get yourself a talented interior decorator, never drink and drive your Bentley, and make this house a home.
Very few of these houses actually look like homes. Its all silver and black currently, souped up Ikea really. I have friends in Surrey and their "homes" look like rentals. There is nothing personalised about them at all. In fact they are barely there anyway!
Many of the houses are simply places to park money. Less risk than a bank account in their eyes.
