The what you think about chase Rise card is it Ez-er to get then Chases other cards ? In is the Rise card some what like a security Deposit card from what I’ve read if you Dep $250 that would your credit limit . But would the 5/24 rule keep you receiving this card . Like know your thought
Should be easy, it's designed to be. If you got a Premier, then there's no real need to go after the Rise. Not worth the 5/24 slot and you've already got good, established credit.
You got denied too for Citi custom card . I got denied as well for Citi custom. But approve for Citi strata In I have a Citi Double cash . How many Citi card can you be approve in a day .
The $250 intro bonus for the US Bank Cash+ has dropped back to $200. How often does the 250 bonus come around? I want the card as a keeper but I'm willing to wait for the best bonus.
Maybe once or twice a year. If you've got other cards on your list then it may be worth the $50. USB is sensitive to a bunch of inquiries. If not, then no rush
Quality video as usual. I recall you were trying to build a 5% back on everything credit card arsenal. I'd love to know the progress and the cards you use. Cheers
I was and mostly did. Because of all my denials, it's about as good as it's going to get for some time now. Plus adding anything else is more so to make it easier, like more custom cash cards. I can look to do an update on it
doing a well Fargo bonus currently for $825 if you open checking and savings in branch got until August 20th to sign up all you need is $25k for the savings and direct deposit $1000 and leave the money in the account for 90 days and that's it, I'm also doing a US Bank Business checking bonus for $300, Us bank has a $800 one but you have to deposit $30k, to get the $300 all you need to do is deposit $5k and leave the money in there for 60 days
If you put $25K in WF for $525 & $5k in USB for $300... Why not just do the $30k at USB? For the $800? Then the WF checking account for $325. You would've had $1125 with 2 accounts and same amount of cash and able to do the WF $525 afterwards for a grand total of $1650 for the same 3 accounts.
i had a $250 checking offer from Cap1 & $300 checking offer from citi, but those are the most ive been offered. All the other ones i see require really large deposits.
I don't know how you do it RJ; I'm already brunt out. I'm definitely Stream lining my credit portfolio ; closed the Bilt card last week and in September saying bye bye to Gold card.
Struggling to find offers makes it less fun to make vids and do the website. That's for sure. I treat bonus hunting as a job. Sometimes it's fun but really I need to hit my numbers either way
@@callmeNeno the channels and blog are under a real LLC. If you wanted to use it as a business on a card application that’s probably fine. It’d be sole prop. This week, Citi has increased the credit limit on my Custom Cash card, out of the blue, for the second time this year. It's my primary Restaurant category card.
@@benchoflemons398 It's getting harder to churn. And when you run through your regions offerings on the personal and business side. It gets a lot harder.
It comes in waves. Good news is if you use a spreadsheet (and track when you closed them out) you can have another go at those accounts you did in 2022 - i.e. the Wells Fargo, the Chase, the 5/3rd, the Huntington, the Truist etc.
Question for you. Would you recommend calling banks/credit unions and getting limits lowered for either A) Cards you might use once a year to keep them active and/or B)Cards that you've been grandfathered in that are no longer available to new customers? I have 60k worth of credit with Navy Federal on two cards that I basically swipe a $5 Amazon reload every year to keep them active. Same for Penfed - the Platinum Cash rewards I have (5% gas at the pump, no monthly or annual cap, but it has a $28,800 credit limit (and is of course at $0 balance) as well? The most I ever put on the latter Penfed card was either during Obama's $4.60 per gallon gas in 2015 or Biden's $5.09 gas in 2022; perhaps during baseball travel had it up to $1,000. My point is I don't want to call them and draw attention to it, but man, it's like $90 of my $250k credit limit that really might be hurting me getting new cards. Thoughts?
I've never bothered to get limits lowered. I have moved limits around to different cards when allowed. Lowering the limit won't hurt anything. I know you don't have any balances so the utilization is nothing to worry about. If you're about to go on an app spree, it could put the odds slightly more in favor. I've seen this reason come up with Citi and Wells Fargo. Other banks either didn't care or didn't disclose it as a reason to me I didn't do it yet because I get multiple denial reasons so out of luck

I applied for US Bank Altitude Connect last month 20k for 1k spend after a few weeks they give me an additional 50k for 2k potential $750 Bonus
Nice, double up there
Nice. If only they would allow for pt transfer to usbar. But then again they’d raise price on card. So never mind!
Nice I have the altitude go card from usbank.
Go hard with the thumbnails, they're getting crazy and I like it!!!!!!!111
Appreciate it sir. Every so often inspiration hits
USB is has changed the 24 months language to 12 months. So I took the current $450 hoping the new 1 yr turn around time sticks
Brokerage account bonuses are still out there

Hey RJ, do you do brokerage bonuses?
I do on occasion. If they're easy to hit, problem is they want the money invested so it's usually large sums for low payouts.
It ain't a little bit.

Nice, if you're in the early game that can be helpful
Bank account bonuses are practically dead. SMDH. Had a few good years. That $1500 Wells Fargo business checking is a happy memory makes me smile.
Practically dead? 💀 it’s an easy extra 500 or so bucks a month with basically no work for most people once you’ve kinda got thing’s figured out.
Agree, been hard to find offers to post and make vids. Let alone signup for

Once you've been doing it for a few years, it gets much harder to find stuff. I'm down to maybe 1-2 accounts per month if I'm lucky.
