+koolkiwikat They would compare to the EVOX12 only, due to number of drivers and column length. With 2 of the tops and 2 subs per side, the EVOX 12 would not be able to keep up.

I will buy only one system as most of my DJ gigs are less than 100 people. Looking at the FBTs, which has a better bass, the CS1000 or the CLA208? How does these two compare with ES503 or ES1203? Is it right to assume that the 1203 has better base response due to its 2x12" subs? Thanks very much, looking forward to more video reviews!
The CS1000 IMO is better than CLA208, we have CLA208 in our rental, but I like the sound of the CS1000 better , it is smoother. The ES503 is a stereo system so I would have to recommend the ES802, but the 12" LF driver of the CS1000 is better IMO than LF of ES802. The ES1203 is the best, but more $$$, we will be doing a video in the next week on the ES1203 so stay tuned. I think you will want the ES1203 if your budget can afford it.

Not as much as you would think. The Vertus is constructed very solid and does not have the resonance for a "metal" speaker as you would think. When this is combined with a sub woofer the sound from the system is actually quite pleasant and full.
great video once again John.. but how are they compared to the RCF Evox8 or the 12?.. better?.. even? and how about the low end since its 2 8" compare to a 10 or 15? seem like you would need to get 2 CLA208sa or more for real bass response?
+dee fresh This is more competing with the EVOX 12 system for size and output. The boxes sound different, the FBT due to the HF drivers is more noticeable in the HF for sibilance and honestly we had to roll off some the HF during a live listening event. One nice thing is that with 2 of the 604 per side and 2 subs, this system would out run a single EVOX 12 and you can do things with the FBT system that you can't with the EVOX boxes. But also the comes at a price point as well, as the 2 over 2 will run you a bit more than a single EVOX 12, but you will have more versatility ...
The 604 are a bit different, not as focused IMO and the frequency response of the NXL24A is better and gets much louder and clearer. IMO we like the larger drivers of the NXL24, but also look at the db Technologies IG4T box as well, very nice system.
you can, but you won't have any separate control over the low end, and we did not like the way the system sounded doing that. a bit tooo much low end IMO

Hello Trinityprosound! I'm Brazilian and I have a lot of trouble buying imported products. I was thinking of buying boxes like the NXL24, CLA 406 or even IG4T. I can not get these boxes here, I only get the FBT vertus 604 with the 208. Do you think 3 Vertus systems on the other hand can compare with the other systems I mentioned? Thank you!
IMO the NXL24 and CLA406, along with IG4T have much better response and power than the 604 and 208 system, we have the 604/208 and it does a decent job for the size and power, but the systems with the larger drivers and power are a league ahead in sound quality. It is evident when you fire it up. A CLA406 with the SUBLINE118SA or even the 218SA would be able to do what a 604/208 could not. We have used for corporate events for speaking and background music type events, but I would not use for live sound unless small group playing to maybe 200 in size. The NXL24, 406 and IG4T sound very good and full response.
oh i'm sorry trinity prosound. i forgot to mention that the much cheaper pair of vertus 604 comes with a pair of CLA208SA. (cheaper, only because of much bigger disc they offer. but in srp the pair of vertus is $700 higher than the pair of evox 8.) So, i will go with the vertus with lesser cost but much power, right? One last question sir, which one sounds better in terms of clarity and quality? Your opinion will make my decision easy and if its come from you i'm sure i will never go wrong. The FBT systems sounds different than the EVOX from RCF...the RCF system seems more smooth to my ears, but that is my opinion and others may not hear the systems the same way ... or have that same opinion. The FBT system has more power for sure with the sub and top boxes having their own amps...we ran the FBT system with the subs on a sub group feed and not connected thru full range so we had more control over the low end. You will be able to do larger events with the FBT system, since the top box has more length to it and also amplifier power...

We have not seen or heard any Dynacord equipment and really don't consider them for a audio source. The EVOX 12 is a great rig along with the FBT CLA1000, but you have to understand, they are not subwoofer boxes even though they do go low, they are not like a dedicated top and subwoofer. if you are looking for a rig/system that will knock off the socks of your clients...look at the FBT CLA406A and the companion sub 118SA. It is amazing and will blow you away. This is a system that you buy once cry once on the cost, but will do exactly as you need for live band and DJ use.

Con uno por cada lado de los 604 y 208, no creo que cubras 300 con niveles accionables, especialmente el sub que es un controlador más pequeño. Ese sistema es mejor con 2 tops y 2 subs por lado y tiene mucho volumen en ese punto. Te sugiero que comiences con uno por cada lado y agregues las tapas y los subs, pero para el trabajo de DJ y el buen bajo vamos a recomendar 2 por cada lado de los 208 VIA GOOGLE TRANSLATE

Depending on what you are using for, these systems are not the same type of setup. Tough to compare them. I do like the portability of the CS1000 and the 12" LF driver. The 604 and 208 needs to have the sub driven from a sub group or AUX feed as the subs have a tendency to reproduce low vocals and explosives in vocals from running them in to sub then to top IMO. If just music, they should work well...we like the CS1000 for the ease of transport and the ability with that system to double stack as needed to grow with. Like the sound of the all wood top box better IMO.
We would have to start with speakers that are similar like the 604 vs. a speaker that is self contained with amp vs. separate LF and HF tops/bottoms. The 604 has some power behind it, but with the 208SA it is OK and that is it. We have some but I just have not been wowed by the system and IMO difficult to get a decent sound from it without driving the subs on a separate buss. The ES1203 is killer IMO. Easy to set up, and sounds great and has a ton of power, the FBT system will not do what the ES1203 system does.
@@trinityprosound Usually no more than 200 people. Irish, bluegrass, singer-songwriters, French Canadian, etc. that don't have electric basses or drum kits. This setup is especially effective in small festival tents. Sound stays off the canopy and reaches to the back. Would love to compare these to the DB Ingenia sometime.
They will do that for sure no issues one of the subs per side and one top box per side will do 200 with no problems. The Ingenia series with a sub sound better IMO. The IG2T and SUB15H would make a great combo system and can be expanded with another top and sub per side if you need to go larger. The sound on the Vertus tops sounds thin to me .
Hi Trinityprosound ! I have FBT Vertus , and one of my CLA208 stop working. When i turn it on, lights go on for 1 sec and than the spaker shuts down with no power. Do you have any idea what can it be ?
Sound like a amplifier issue and will have to be sent in for service. Sounds like it is protecting itself from further destruction. Most likely power section
H lucas , I had this happen, its a small board on the psu that provides soft-start needs replacing , new part is up-graded , hope yours got fixed ok, not expensive to do .

hello, i own a pair of the FBT 406 CLA system, each Time i push my mixer Volume up the LMT/PRT Light keep flashing and the HF sound cuts off. and i have Never push to Get to the peek light . is there something im not doing right ?
How are they connected??, if you are attempting to use them for sub woofer content and no cross over, any speaker will limit early including the 406's . We don't run them at high levels without using a subwoofer with a 80-120hz cross over output to the 406's that way they are not trying to do something they were not designed to do, which is produce low end below 100hz for playback and live. Always use a cross over or sub with dedicated cross over outputs.
The iP3000 is an all in one unit that can not be used a separate units. This system can be split and subs used with other speakers or the tops used by themselves. Can't do that with the iP3000. The sound is more uniform from 2 of the CLA604s per side than the iP3000

The CS1000 IMO is better than CLA208, we have CLA208 in our rental, but I like the sound of the CS1000 better , it is smoother. El SUB18SA es increíble si necesita buenos bajos. También el 15SA hace un buen trabajo pero no como el 18SA de FBT

el 406 es bueno, como el RCF NXL24. Casi el mismo sonido y tipo de construcción. Ambos son buenos oradores y tienen una salida increíble

Currently thinking of going with 2 x IG4T + 2 x DVA-S09DP (or SUB15H).

CLAS208SA is a sub and the TT08 is a 2 way box. The CLA system is good, but for a full range box, the TT08 is amazing in output.
The combination of the SUB and the TT08A would really be a nice sounding system.

trinityprosound can I use the QSC touchmix16. To do the cross over
possibly, I don't know if the touch mix has the type of filters or out put that can be tuned to a BW24 at 80-100hz, with a fairly steep rolloff...
