I find this hilarious because when I was little and first heard the term "lesbian" used I thought they were talking about a country or a religion. 10 years later I'm a closeted bisexual :')
lmao the acting...you can tell the parents are having a hard time being homophobic...i wonder how many times u had to film without giggling and obvious sarcasm..
You know when a straight person says they know another gay person and think you two should automatically hook up? “I know another straight person! Maybe the two of you could go out!”
Darn. I was honestly hoping for the scene to go something like, "FINALLY! We've been waiting AGES for you to tell us so we didn't have to keep tiptoeing around the subject!" But the whole "Yeah, they're outwardly pretending they're on board with it while freaking out in private," is still hilarious. It's a great inversion; now THEY are the one with the secret (they think) from her.
How you thought it was gonna go is basically what happened when I came out to my mom. Everyone else was shocked but my mom was like "Aw, honey, I know"
you just show up at your house one day and tell your parents "this is my boyfriend" (in case you're a boy) or "this is my girlfriend" (in case you're a girl)
Ay that's basically what I did with the part of my family that wouldn't freak out too much. They still make rude comments but as far as I am concerned, the closet does not exist with them.
MineMusic I wonder if a masculine sport does something to a woman? I believe that people are born gay. Of course some straight women become gay after being sexually assaulted.
@@LongAwaitedBaby understand that sexuality is a spectrum. There is not just 100% straight, 100% gay, 100% bi. Sexual assault doesn't change a sexual orientation. It might lead to people discovering their sexuality but doesn't change it. Sports don't change anything in a woman just like feminine stuff don't change a man. These are just some stereotypes that are within us due to the society.
My parents are the best parents I could ever ask for but sadly they don’t see the LGBTQ+ community as valid as they should and that it’s just for attention and that it’s a phase 99% of the time. But my parents said that if I wasn’t straight then they’d love me no matter what but I doubt they’d be happy lol. And even if I did come out as Bi they’d just say “No you’re not. Stop being like everyone else. It’s just for attention” and they wouldn’t hide their true feelings since we are so close they’d just tell it straight up. Guess who is hopefully sneaking off to a pride festival in September with my friends thooo
That sucks. I came out to my parents a while ago. They reacted really bad at first, but 5 months later and they act much better. But now I have to tell them I actually have a boyfriend. They just got used to me being gay, so I'm not sure how they'll react. (I'm Male, gay and 17, hope this provides context)

Sorry lol, I know no one cares, but I never talked to anyone about it. I don't really have people to talk to.
