    I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but I got 2 of those bumper caps from PBR with the appropriate printing on them. They’re both red, no orange though. Had to ask Jimmy for them.

    Looks like you are having some fun with this restoration.
    Only thing that I see not working correctly is the two extra ball bonus lights when achieving the proper bonus levels.
    Extra ball when you hit the side targets at the proper bonus level seems to be working correctly.
    These should light 3 times based on the roll over switches at the proper bonus positions.

    Thank you for this video. These EMs are great.👍
    Did you notice that there seems to be the trace (of rust?) of a brass knuckle on the paperwork that is stored in this pinball machine?😯
    That, plus the smashed bottom, you can imagine the atmosphere this pinball machine once operated in... If this pinball machine could talk, it would have a lot to say!😆

    Thanks for the video Ronnie! I thought I might have that bumper cap, but didn't. I found a 1000 points when lit center cap, but it's not slanted and I think it's a gottlieb. Sorry, I really wanted to help. See you on the next video! ✌️

    Okay, I'm pretty sure I bragged about this the last time you had a Circus in, but those are my schematics I had scanned :). I do love to see them being put to good use!
    I just got back to mine and cleaning and adjusting to get everything as precise as possible...what awesome timing for this video!

    Very enjoyable video. I especially like watching you break out the schematics, and going through the logic of any issues you find.
    I’d like to say I’m getting better at using schematics, …but I still needed you to sort out my Far Out issues, so I guess I haven’t improved all that I need to….I’ll keep watching and keep trying to get better. Thanks for posting.

    • @markjackson1444
      @markjackson1444 Год назад +1

      They’re a lot more fun for me now, after watching you with schematics on many machines.
      I now know much more how to read the schematics, and what they show and tell about how the machine is supposed to work. You bet it’s fun when you track down the issue, isolate the likely culprit, and actually fix the problem. That’s huge, it never gets old… I owe you Ronnie, for all the improvments I’ve been able to make since becoming a student of your videos. …Thanks a million!

    I'm sure the installation instructions say something like making the bottom of the cabinet level. This would make the machine consistent across multiple locations. Also make the machine true to the original designers vision.

      Would it make your disorder better if I would have said "Missing correct cap" ? If I'm missing a machine, and I say 'I have a missing pinball machine!" but in reality I have 10 pinball machines sitting here, would your disorder demand I correct that too? "Missing Pinball Machine = No Pinball Machine"

    Lock yo doors.. It's about to get real up in Rock Hill!! Good thing that Circus machine has already got quick access gun storage! I know this game was really popular but it was never a favorite of mine. Sometimes it seemed kind of boring. Like you always say, "make them too easy and nobody will play them"

    • @LyonsArcade
      @LyonsArcade  Год назад +2

      I do have some but I haven't done a tour. As you probably know I like the more common stuff so I've got a really nice original Ms. Pac-Man, a 1967 Williams "Beat Time" pinball, a 1960 Wurlitzer 2400 Jukebox, a Nintendo single monitor dedicated Playchoice-10, and an Atari Breakout.

    Ron, have you ever asked The Pinball Resource if they could/would make the proper color/wording for the slant tops? If they are making some of these as made-to-order, it would seem that they could make the combination you would need, even if it isn't specifically listed. Just curious.

    • @LyonsArcade
      @LyonsArcade  Год назад +1

      I think the main problem is the orange color, they have the inserts and the deco trim made and then they attach them together, and they can hot stamp 10,100,1000 and 'points when lit' seperately I believe but they don't make orange trim for them

    • @LyonsArcade

      It's kind of a hard design it's very 3 dimensional, then has to be painted and it's two pieces glued together of different colors.

    Remind me next time not to watch Ronnie play pinball. I kept hitting the side of my chair every time the ball came down. I think I tilted my chair once or twice too. lmbo My dad told me long ago. The only way to fix something electronic is to be able to read a schematic, so, he taught me how to read schematics. It's something you definitely need some practice at doing. Ronnie does an awesome job explaining them too. Pay attention people!

    I wouldnt take any ipdb picture as gospel but a good start, as some games like williams flash i have seen with red lane guides, blue lane guides, purple and combo of them, if they ran out of a part they used what they could find that would work to keep working , just a thought to keep in mind.
